Fantastic Food and Charismatic Staff
This fantastic little restaurant is a family run establishment with one brother as the chef, the other as head waiter and their wives as waitresses. The family, all originally from Madeira produce delicious original portuguese food. Their Espadas (chicken/beef or fish on skewers hanging from the ceiling)are exciting, with their fillet steak being one of the best I've tried in Cardiff. The staff are chatty and vivacious making you feel at home but in the same breath transporting you across the water to their small island of Madeira. Without fail there will always be a couple of birthday parties, where all the staff sing the traditional portuguese birthday song and give the birthday boy a shot of local produce! A truely fantastic experience with very reasonably priced food, and trust me... you will leave full!
