High Quality Vietnamese on Kingsland Road
In my quest for the perfect Vietnamese meal on Kingsland Road, I've been to nearly every restaurant the street has to offer. This is certainly the best one. In addition to great food, their service is fantastic. Restaurnt service in London is frequently sub-par, even at high end restaurants. It's thus particularly impressive to find great food and great service at a family-run Vietnamese place on Kingsland Road. Must Try: Summer Rolls (under the name Fresh Rolls) & their Coconut Juice.

NOTES: Point to your choice on the menu when ordering to avoid any confusion. Also, be aware that some of the seating is communal (a la Wagamama).

Good food, shit service!
The dim sum is very westernized and inauthentic, but I think that they're just serving to their clientel. The place is clean and the food was very tasty for what it was. But it has to be some of the worst service I've ever experience in my entire life. I've been a couple of times ( I don't know why I keep going back ). Once, I asked for a fork 3 times and never got one. Another time, when I beckoned a waiter back to my table after he removed a dish I wasn't finished with and then he continued to be very rude, I refused to pay the discretionary service charge. He then threatened to do something to my food if I ever returned. I haven't.

Healthy, Tasy, CHEAP!
This is everything I think an ideal restaurant should be. The food tastes really good. Everything is fresh and "home-made". The food is quite healthy and it's super tasty. My favourite topping is the Guacamole but I also love their special, the Mexican Beef. Mmm...I'm drooling on my keyboard.

Anyway, this place is very affordable, the service is great, and the food is superb. Definitely worth trying.

I usually go to the one in Angel. This TBC is much nicer insider and feels more homely. I think it's the comfy couches in back. The food's great and the staff are always friendly. I usually get pancakes and vegetarian sausages. Mmmm...

Great burgers cooked to order. The selection is great and most of the staff are absolutely wonderful; I'm a regular there and they always remember what I want to order. I'd reccomend the Satay Beef burger (it's been taken off the menu recently but they'll still make it upon request). Oh yeah, and the hand-cut chips are amazing. You can't go wrong with the chocolate chocolate chip milkshake, either!

The beautiful downstairs bar servs up a wide array of exotic & original mixed drinks. Drink's aren't exactly cheap, but they're of the highest quality and definitely worth the money. Dinner upstairs wasn't as exciting as I might have expected after drinks downstairs. The food was good, but I wasn't exactly blown away.
