Great little place
The restaurant itself is a fairly plain, and it's not a low-light romantic special either. That said, the food is excellent, the staff and service is very good. The Pathia is an excellent dish. Highly recommended for the food and service. We used to go for a take-out fairly regularly too.

Can't speak highly enough of a great restaurant that has clearly got it's act together. My wife & I arrived 5 mins early, but our table was ready anyway (plus point in my view that so many restaurants fail on).

The service was superb, the food arrived in a very timely manner with, IMO, the right timing between courses (i.e. a longer delay between main and dessert). The staff were friendly and helpful.

Food quality is excellent, and for chocoholics everywhere, please, try the "soup". ;o)

Superb food, but you pay for it. The atmos is fantastic and ideal for foursomes or couples. Prices are high, so don't expect much change from 80 quid for a 3 course meal for two with wine. Either it's a special treat for us "normal" types, or a regular haunt for the better off.

Pure, unadulterated crap. The service was terrible - we waited over an hour for our first course, and 45 minutes for the main course. The food was terrible, burnt, microwaved rubbish. The manager didn't seem to care very much either. Would give it zero stars if I could.

Mr Chu's is a huge place but the quality of service doesn't suffer because of it. The food is excellent and service of a high standard. Don't get sat in the conservatory in winter, cause it's a bit chilly - that said it's make a nice spot in the summer looking out over the Humber. Romantic couples take their chances at not getting sat next to a table of 15 hooray-henry's on an office night out.

Excellent mexican restaurant. The atmosphere is just right, the food is excellent. They don't take bookings, so expect a 30-40 minute wait when you arrive, but there is a bar area so it passes quickly. The fajitas are excellent, and the sloppy joe's nachos are a great sharing starter.

This place is an "all you can eat" chinese restaurant. The food is basic, but tasty and makes a good value night out. Price per head is c.£14 (as at Feb 07). It's waitress service (as opposed to buffet style) and it's kinda strange having a menu with no prices on it. There are two "sittings", so either 7:30 or 9:15. I find the 9:15 is ideal as we can get a few beers in first. Overall it's a decent chinese restaurant, recommend it.
