My new fave place in London
I've eaten at Story Deli twice now - both on a Saturday night. The ambiance and interior evokes a feeling of warmth. I'm from Toronto originally and reminds me of one of my favourite home decor places called Commute on Queen West.

In the evening, on a big wooden communal table, scattered with candles, it is a lovely place to have an easy dinner with a few friends.

I loved the pizza. Incredibly thin, flakey crust, fresh fresh fresh ingredients. Each pizza is organized in sections. Rather than all the ingredients evenly spread around the pizza, the ingredients are concentrated in areas. It might be a bit different for some but we loved it.

yesterday, I took a brownie - super decadent to go.

Great Vibe!
I have only been to Notting Hill Arts Club once, but I can't wait to go again. From the outside, you barely know it is there ... but brewing beneath the ground is a friendly scene where people just enjoy the music with little pretension.

The music was fantastic. It started with a wicked funk, free form jazz band. Later the DJs came out with some classics.

The best part of it all seemed that everyone was welcome and no-one was there to impress. Very cool.

BTW ... all ages seemed to be welcome and comfortable

Best Latte in London
This little hole in the wall on the edge of Covent Garden is a definite place to stop to get a latte to go. This crowded little snack bar has room for just a few tables. However, forget the snacks and go for the Latte. It has got to make the best latte in London. It's so smooth and lovely with no bitterness.

I now go out of my way to get my morning latte from this little gem. It doesn't hurt that everyone there is so friendly and ready to help.
