The first time i went there It was soo delicious, but then the second time i went it wasnt so good, the pizza was a bit burnt. But the staff there are friendly, well you have to be to put up with hastings people. But they take your order quickly and get everything going straight away. not too expensive and clean for a takeaway, not as clean as you'd have it at home but they never are. its not open all thet often though, i went along there the other evening as lots of the pizza places in hastings have closed lately but they were closed too.

Frenches is a smallish bar /pub, always packed with people, probably generally more towards the chav end of the spectrum, but not so much that you cant go in there. They have a raised dance floor area with a couple of poles on it so once your drunk you can embarrass your self spectaculy. The music is a little too dance like for most people but its danceable so its ok. never seen a fight in there either so thats good, but u do get the girls who think their all that going in there. But all in all an ok place

Dont go here, horrible club above a casino/ amusement arcade thing. full of chavs, drunk sluts falling down the stairs all the time, fights breaking out every hour and the barmen and bouncers have to be tough. Its all the way down in the old town too so you've got the long walk in your unconfortable shoes just to have to queue in the cold amoungst lots of hastings finest! And them get beaten up once your in there, forever changing management and name to try and sort this out but it never helps. So one to miss in my opinion! get yourself down the crypt with the good looking ones :)

Strip or not
Small place on the outskirts of the main town centre. Has a small bar and a small dance floor area in the main part and then you have stairs going down on one side and a foozeball table in this cave part, really cool. and then on the other side of the main part stairs go up to the next floor where there is a small function room and a kitchen, very confortable place. Sometimes its rented out for parties and sometimes its a strip club, this came under fire with lots of objections, but i lived round the corner from it and never had any problems.

great clean place
Great place, a bit small, your kinda close to the poeple on the next table, but in such a small town you get used to things like that. The staff are really very friendly and will come to take your dinks order straight away. They will read you out all the specials and then give you time to decide while they get your drinks. You do run the risk of getting served by someone you know though. The place is really clean and the food is great, you can make requests for special food and they are more than happy to help.

Or weathers as its called round here, great food during the day, all clean and nice now no one is allowed to smoke in there. Friendly staff who always look rushed off their feet. During the evening, anyone can go in there as they dont play music so no one is annoyed by chavie music or indeed chavs, think ive only ever seen a couple in there. Takes quite a while to get a drink in the evening, but its big enough that you can always get a seat and have a nice chat in there, but no dancing as no music. but a great place and cheap drinks, always a bonus!

This is one for the young people of hastings, but definatly no chavs, got a kind of indie feel to it, couple of pool tables and no one will mind if you just want to laze about. Not a massive choice of drinks, if you want that go to the pig, but enough to get drunk on, used to have some good bands playing too, but then did tend to get swamped by 14 yr olds which isnt so great once your old. But all in all a good place with friendly people, wouldnt have fights breaking out there, good bar staff too. Gets my reccomendation

Normal traditional pub, has a bad reputation for the past few years with fights breaking out everyday but someone else has taken it over recently and the hastings people seemed to have moved or started to behave themselves. So all in all a much better place. I even know someone who works there now. Decent sized place so you can all fit in there, outside bit too, friendly staff and landlords, only thing is its all the way down towards the old town so a bit of a walk if your in town. But i'd say worth checking it out to see what you think

great pub
The pig as we all know it is a large establishment, taken over a few years ago which was a shame as i think all the live acts went with them, but its still got a great atmosphere. Lots of people go so you wont feel outnumbered whatever group you belong too, jukebox has everything on it, but a lot of rock will be played, but then that is the best music anyway so why would you complain. Lots of choice of drinks, can sit and have a quiet one or party in the back room, great on nights like haloween where you wont be judged at all, great pub all in all.

50p pool
Very small pub, but very friendly, run by a family so its not all commercial, even a couple if dogs wondering round to make the feeling complete. They have 50p pool as well, so you can spend all day there without breaking the bank. We used to go there as teenagers but there are a lot of older folk there too so you wont be outnumbered if you are young or old. The staff are really friendly and dont mind you hogging the juke box or pool table if your friendly. The only reason we left was cos one of the drunks got violent with us cos hes a hastonian and the landlord didnt stick up for us so we took our custom elsewhere. But apart from that a lovely pub with fun memories.
