Since I am like to live nearby I visit Everest Inn quite frequently and I have never been disappointed once, in fact it is my favourite Indian restaurant in London. The staff are always extremely polite and ready to accommodate our needs and the food is split between usual curryhouse dishes (they do a very good Tikka masala and korma) and Nepalese specialties. Since they have a tandoor oven some of the best dishes are the ones cooked in it, such as the Tandoori Prawns which melt in the mouth (you don't even need a knife to cut them, they're so tender you can part them witha fork!) and the Peshwari naan breads are some of the best we've had.

Busaba Eathai is a very good quality chain of 3 restaurants, and the one in Store Street is in my opinion the best out of the 3. They offer simple food in a Wagamama-style setting (everyone shares a table and you are seating next to other people, sometimes with barely enough space for your plate to fit) although the decor is much nicer than Wagamama and more atmospheric. The dishes on offer vary from the everpresnt Thai curries (the duck curry and the pumpkin one are highly recommended) to more unique dishes of Chicken in Pandan leaf (a favorite for most, as you can see it in almost every table) and Thai calamari (a starter you shouldn't miss!) and some good noodle and stir-fry dishes. The hot and cold tea are all wonderful (hot tea comes in a little pot and is accompanied by coconut cookies) but unfortunately there are no desserts which is a surprise. The food is quite cheap (a tiny bit more expensive than Wagamama prices) and worth every penny of the money you will pay for it.

This is my favourite Thai restaurant in London, it combines excellent flavours with personalised service and a great atmosphere (in the alcove tables on the downstairs floor). If you follow the chef's recommendations (marked in the menu) you won't be disappointed and don't forget to try the Thai pancake dessert. The duck with noodles is a surprisingly great rendition of a classic dish which many restaurants fail at, and the traditional tourist dish of Pad thai has gone big here, with huge succulent prawns and an omelette trellis on top. All the dishes are impressive, but what we love most about Chaopraya is that the waiters seems to remember us from previous visits, and always offer us the greatest but most discreet attention (when asked the waitress even taught us how to fold the napkins the way they do in the restaurant).

Highly recommended for great Thai food, although some might find it not 100% authentic it's still very worth the price you pay.

Bincho Yakitori in the OXO tower is one of my favourite restaurants in London as it combines the 2 things that I always look for in a restaurant: Good food and a great environment to eat it in. The concept of yakitori is grilled skewers of traditionally chicken, but other types of fish, vegetables and meat are also on offer. Some that stand out are unagi (eel), momo (corn-fed chicken), ika (squid), enokibacon (enoki mushrooms wrapped in bacon), mehikari (fried fish with 7 spices), and the best dessert ever, layered banana cake with green tea ice cream.

The ambience is great, and the views to the river fantastic, if you go make sure you book in advance and ask for a table next to the window, I've never been disappointed as they always give me one.

I've been to Piccolo Diavolo a few times, and have stayed mostly happy with my visits. I would advise customers to go for the meat/fish main courses as the pasta/pizza is not as good as those. Main recommendation is the vitello a la milanesa (Breaded veal fillet) which definitely reminds me of the great food I've had in Italy. The waiters are very warm, but sometimes the restaurant can feel very intrusive as the tables are crowded together and if it's too full there's not much privacy, but then again this is the original Italian feel (there's evern Chianti bottles hanging all around).
Overall a good little place to eat if you're around Soho and looking for something traditional/family-like.
