Awful!!
As an Indian myself, I find it difficult to find any restaurant which will be better than my mum's cooking. I was recommended this place by work colleagues. After checking out there menu I was quite interested.

Once arriving we were quickly seated, there are a number of seating levels, with the place being filled with Bollywood star photos everywhere and funky chandeliers and interior. With TV's screens showing Bollywood music videos.

Once seated, I was expecting a menu similar to the one on the website. I was disappointed when we were told there is only the array of kebabs, either vegetarian or non-veg. We opted for the vegi option, and where given a range of various veggie kebabs. The food however was awful, very sugary, we could tell they used sugar/salt to enhance the flavours. Which is not good, nothing traditional Indian about the food we had, it kept coming with various grilled vegetables in various coatings. The food was expensive and not worth it at all.

The only thing I found good where the various range of cocktails which were nice.

If your a veg eater you may dislike the food from this place.

Wagamama
As a fan of Wagamama, I have been satisfied with the other branches across London. This was my first visit to the Wigmore Street branch. You walk in along the pathway inside and are swiftly seated.

The staff where friendly and took orders in no time. We were told our food will come at different a time which is expected, but once I had received my plate, it took another 10 minutes after that for my girlfriend’s food to arrive. I thought I would not be rude and wait for hers to arrive so we can both start eating. By the time hers had arrived my food was becoming slow.

Other than that, if you have been to Wagamama's before it's really the same. Would recommend this branch if you’re in the area with nice staff.

Welcome back
Zebrano opened up again a few months ago, and my first visit there I was surprised I had a good time.

The crowd where great, with no problems at all. The staff where friendly and serving times where not much of a problem on a busy night.

A mixture of music ranging from old school classics to dance music to chart music, a little bit of everything for everyone. With a second floor upstairs to fade away from the main area downstairs.

Although we did get kicked out by the bouncers after a short chat we where let back in as we did not do anything wrong, and those causing the trouble where sent packing home.

If your looking for a different spot with a fun aspect to it then Zebrano is the place to be.

Hot Sweaty
On Anon is a big place, with a good number of floors playing various types of music.
With free entry before 10pm this place throughout the night becomes so crowded you can barely move. The main dance floor is not that big and you notice your end up being pushed about rather than dancing. Or keep having to move with those who want to visit the loo. The food although is nice, prices vary with the food. Drinks are quite expensive as expected with most central London nightclubs. This place is usually filled with males, of all ages. It can become hot and sweaty inside due to the congestion of clubbers.
If you’re looking for a free night out before 10pm and a mixed array of clubbers with decent tunes this place will suit you but be warned it does get overcrowded.

Local pub for the workers
In the last recent months this pub has had more changes to its staff than anywhere I've seen. Located in Whitechapel, the White Heart is a standard boozer pub. Full of local employees of the surrounding businesses. The prices of drinks are in line with other pubs. However the food range is limited and quite dear in price terms, around £7.50 for bangers and mash! With outside seating on hot summer days this is ideal for a pint with a bunch of mates. Footie is also shown which is a bonus after work. Staff are polite and well served. It's an ever improving pub and worth a visit in the area with its limited but unique ranges of food.

Cheap and Cheerful
Hayfield is part of the Scream range of pubs and bars. Located in the heart of East London, this pub offers customers a range of well catered food and drink. The place itself is nice, feels like a bachelors pad, with the array of pool tables, arcade games and also books along with board games. Hayfield comes alive on footie nights, with 2 screens showing a game or at times 2 games on popular nights. The staffs are nice and friendly however on busy days you'll be waiting for a while at the bar to get served. Located not too far from Queen Mary University, this is an ideal pub for students and can be filled with a lot of them. They have nice sofas and on quiet days you can take someone for a nice quiet drink.
