The food here is mostly "you get what you pay for"! The prices are nice and cheap, but then the food is obviously pre-frozen and reheated in store. More than fine if you're after "something vaguely resembling chicken" and chips that may have once been on holiday with a potato! If you're after anything resembling real food then you might want to reconsider going here!

That's not to say it doesn't serve a purpose, it's open late (until the wee hours), the staff are ok (not friendly, but not offensive either) and if you're after food on the way back from the pub then this place is a small piece of heaven!

Also, the spicy burgers are VERY spicy! The 'normal' burgers are quite spicy, but the spicy ones, woah!!

There really isn't anything to fault with China House! We've always had fast delivery, free items galore and even concern when we hadn't ordered for several months! (that makes it sound like we're addicted, but we probably order 1-2 times a month).

Their food is always top notch and the longest we've ever had to wait is about 40 minutes on a weekend night. They coped very well with a very large (£100) order we placed once (new year party!) and even this was delivered within the hour.

Food choice-wise, we've previously ordered a wide range of things (lemon chicken, sweet and sour, chow mein, various rice dishes) and none of them have disappointed.

Oh, and they're halal, if that matters to you :)

Possibly the worst KFC I've ever been into!

Aside from the lack-lustre staff (and yes, I realise they're working for minimum wage in a seemingly dead-end job and get abuse day and night, but a certain level of acknowledgement when you approach the counter would be a start!) nothing ever seems to be in stock! the last 3-4 times we (as a family) have been in we've either had to choose alternatives or leave and go elsewhere due to lack of certain items.

Probably the only good thing I can say about this branch is that they have 1 lovely and polite member of staff who has the decency to look embarrassed at this!

Really, really bad service, have vowed never to go there again and we now pay more for a local Nandos-a-like instead!

If you're of above average weight/size and female then no doubt you've heard of Evans before now!

The Ilford branch is mostly average in terms of stock holding, sale range and size availability, but what makes it that little bit nicer than your average clothes shop is the friendly and helpful staff.

Situated towards the grubbier end of the high road, the shop is generally clean and tidy, though the sale racks (which are right by the door) can be a bit haphazard and messy. Once you get past this though it's a pleasant shopping experience and I thoroughly recommend engaging the staff if you're likely to be a regular customer as the remembered me after only 2 visits!
