This pub has so much character. Its got seperate rooms and although the bar area is small, its nice for a sit down. They also do nice pub style food.

I agree small portions, but thats on the assumption that you will order 3 courses. Its a nice upmarket Italian resturant and the staff are excellent. Wine is so expensive though!

Theres a variety of opera and operetta. Its quite expensive unless your a student as they do 10pound tickets. Its a lovely building as well.

The branch in the town centre is great. They often have live salsa bands and theres sometimes salsa classes. They do great cocktails and tapas food.

Expensive
The snacks and coffee here taste quite good, but I would sooner go to Costa Coffee. Here you get good service, but I dont like being sat in between shops and there are so many people walking past it isnt very relaxing.

Excellent record and cd shop. They have a nice selection of non mainstream bands, I particularly like the world section. Staff are very helpful here.

Great live music
There are loads of good live bands that are booked here regularly. I especially like the world bands that come and play. The food isnt that great and is expensive, as are drinks. Sometimes there is free entry but when theres a band on I dont mind paying as some of it will go to the musicians.

Not a very nice bar
I had a friend who worked here for a total of 2 nights.
I went in on one of those nights to find her being hassled by several very old and very drunk men. It does have cheap drink and cheap food and theres a lot of seating, but the atmosphere is slimy and not very pleasant.
The cocktail I had was quite nice but didnt actually have much alcohol in it. There are far better places to go in Leeds than this bar.
