Great hotel
Very clean accommodations at a convenient location. We were traveling as a family of five -- ages 10 to 75 and stayed in one room. It was a little tight, but being all in one room saved us money and was convenient. The en suite bath was very large and clean and we were able to use the hallway facilities when needed.
As other reviewers noted, the staff was very pleasant and accommodating. While we had no needs, I feel confident they would have tried to meet them.
We were trying to connect with a friend who currently lives in London and she was able to call the hotel and leave messages for us. They took good, detailed messages. My friend said they even called her back to appologize when they thought we hadn't checked in but had.
The breakfast was good and cooked to order.
The location was convenient to public transporation when needed, but also close enough to walk to some sites.
There was a fan in the room which kept us comfortable when it was getting a little warmer.
I would highly recommend the Euro Hotel to a friend.

stayed here 4 nights beginning of march had a wonderful time, the hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff are really helpful, we asked for directions to the casino not only did they oblige complete with a map, they even gave us a promotional ticket for free entry, the rooms are all different, we were given a choice of two - canal or garden view - we chose the garden view, although the garden isn't at its best just yet, you can see what it will become, the new owners (8 months) have employed a gardener and he is busy working on restoring and replanting it, this is going to be a fantastic area to sit (has patio section) with a drink after a long day walking. Breakfast was continental with plenty of choice, tea (even herbal) and coffee are made fresh for you when you enter the dining room, again the staff where lovely. The location may not be right in the heart of the tourist area (10 min walk) but this made it even better, being placed in a more residential section you got to see and meet the real venetians as they go about the day, and the local resturants are great value, excellent food and a really warm friendly atmosphere. Overall this is a lovely hotel whose staff are friendly and willing to help, having only 16 bedrooms it has a truly cosy feel and I wouldn't hesitate in staying there again

Great hotel
We just wanted somewhere for B&B at a reasonable price in central Oxford while we visited our daughter. Got a good rate on the internet.
This suited us well and we were pleasantly surprised after reading some of the negative reviews.
We did ask for a "quiet " room and we got No 8 with a double and single which was clean and simply furnished, although no chairs. The bathroom worked and the bed was comfortable.

However, not recommended for the elderly or infirm as we had to bend almost double and twist and turn to negotiate the C17 ceilings and stairs to get there.

The breakfast was fine, if slow. Only one waitress and not enough tables.

The Service and Reception are really non-existent, but downstairs it is just a student pub (with no real ale) and TVs everywhere both inside and out! I think noise could be a problem in some of the bedrooms either from the bar or the road, we were ok with a window shut.

The real plus points are-the location/the carpark/the price.

As long as you turn up- just expecting to be given the keys and your room number and the times for breakfast from somone behind the bar(and nothing else) -you will not be too disappointed. Not 4 star and certainly no airs and graces, but we slept well, enjoyed the breakfasts and found the bathroom facilities quite acceptable.

Would stay again for a couple of nights-but not for longer-as the real joy was being able to park the car and wander round Oxford on foot fot 3 days.

Excellent value
Ibis Leeds is well situated for road users on the edge of the City, and about a 15 minute walk from both the centre of Leeds and train station.

I found the staff helpful, reception area clean and well appointed. Room was average size with simple furnishings, TV, tea&coffee, en-suite bathroom with shower, small writing desk and aircon.

The aircon however was switched off, and as others have mentioned this can make the room stuffy. The window opens slightly allowing some air in, but this does come with traffic noise too. Hopefully Ibis read this website and listen to the reviewers gripes and switch the system on!!

Breakfast was extra, but fine for the price. A typical Ibis experience, fine in most respects

Could be better!
Was ideally situated for me - right opposite the train station.
Room was clean and had all the facilities you'd expect.
Hotel reasonably well kept.
They have a small gym which was useful for a workout and a fairly spacious relaxing room with Jacuzzi, Steam room, Sauna and seating area.
I think what disappointed me was a general lack of care and management of the hotel which led to a lot of little things not happening. nothing major but that take away from a feeling of being looked after.

When I arrived I wasn't told about the gym etc which is all free and included in the B& B.
I ordered a morning paper but it never arrived.
When I went for breakfast I had to remind the waitress to serve me coffee
There was no milk or butter on my table.
When I went to use they gym they had no towels and had to get one from my room.

The staff were all pleasant though, but these little things make you feel that you are not really looked after.

Great location
If you're travelling to Cardiff the Hilton is the only choice. Location is absolutely perfect! The Castle is across the street, and if you're as lucky as I am you can see it from your room! National Museum is across the street, shopping district directly behind the hotel, walking distance to almost everything...and what you can't walk to..the bus runs directly in front of the hotel.
Service was spectacular! For a large hotel the personal service was impressive, from the doorman in the top hat, to the front desk staff, restaurant staff... everyone was fantastic. Rooms were large and spacious and fully equipped with everything you need.

A great hotel
When visiting the westlynne hotel, I booked to stay in one of the appartments which were very large and modern. The appartment we stayed in had a kitchen area, louge area, two bedrooms with one ensuite and a bathroom.
I found the staff very polite and were very willing to help and make our stay enjoyable.
Wonderfull full English breakfast, which was all included in the price! ( not like the travel lodges that we have stayed in the past ).

Irons & hairdryers were available at reception as well as shampoos, conditions, toothpaste and even shoe polish!
My sister stayed in the hotel which was just as lovely, with a nice size bedroom, clean and comfortable, good value for money I would say...
The hotel is convenient for visiting Manchester city center we only paid £5 returning in a taxi, but got there via metroloink which is only a short walk from the hotel itself

Great location
We stayed just the one night at a very good B&B rate. The room was clean but quite small and characterless.When I booked on the internet it said that parking was in a nearby car park at a rate of £6 per night.At check in I was told it would be £7.50 per night.When we checked out I was told that the car park had new owners and they had not got any discount vouchers so I would have to pay the full rate of £10.After kicking up a fuss they refunded my credit card with £2.50.The cooked breakfast had obviously been cooked some time before we got there and re-heated in a microwave apart from the eggs which were fresh.
Apart from these minor gliches we had no complaints.The hotel is very well situated

great!
I went to this for a leaving party last year! when we went it was 3 courses and a bottle of wine each for a certain price! A very good deal!The staff are very smart and even took our coats for us, we have to choose from a number of starters, mains and desserts! The food was very well presented and came out quick!
There is too floors to this resturant,upstairs is more of a lounge,great place to go before you have yuour meal!
The drinks were very expensive though on the menu, just glad we had a bottle of wine!
Check out the website for more upcoming offers! I didnt see the other menu, so i aint too sure of the costs!

great for luch
I remember finding this cafe very randomly in chester!It was about lunchtime i went there. you can either eat in or take away, but we decided to eat in,as the weatehr was rather cold outside!
The staff are very friendly and theres a massive salad and sandwich list. You can have it on all different kinds of bread aswell!
It was very well priced and came with lots of filling on it! While we were in there, it got so busy!people coming for there lunch and taking it out again! Its such a cute little cafe with lots of selection to choose from! Even hot drinks!
Such a great little place to find.
