Optics is a reasonable club. Nothing really special though. The bouncers deal with trouble easily and security is high, the price is horrific to get in, considering most of the time you want to leave after 15mins. Still, worth a visit with your friends. Barstaff are friendly, bouncers are flirtatious like they all are, toilets are very nice inside, and is nicely furnished throughout. An average club to visit if you’re in Norwich. Live music is atrocious. Wannabe rappers usually ruin the night, so if this starts, I’d advise you to leave and visit one of the other clubs down the road. Otherwise, like I said before, am average club.

MERCY
Great music, cheap drinks and a fantastic dancefloor. Mercy is a definite place to visit whilst you're in Norwich. Alchopops are £1.25 before 12am if you ask for a VS, and the bar staff are often scantily dressed. A smoking area is provided and there are two sections of the club. Upstairs for the indie music and downstairs for the more r&b, dance and electronica. What once used to be an old theatre house, is now an impressive club. Drinks are barred from the dancefloor, which is a blessing considering how long it takes to get ready, just to have someone to poor beer down your new top. The toilets are kept clean and are very chic. A definite place to go and boogie with your mates.

Reflex
Reflex is probably only good for one thing, and that is the alcohol. Yes, the booze is cheap, which is good because you’ll be wanting to drown your sorrows as soon as you’re in there. The service is often slow, the toilets are a shambles with most of them not having toilet seats and no locks on the doors, the dance floor is tiny and the music, which is the most important thing to have in a club, is horrific. If you want to be in a crowd full of middle aged men trying to grope you, or have drinks constantly spilt on you, then this is definitely the place for you. But if standing around waiting for someone to serve you isn’t your style, then go on over to the back of the dance floor and have a whirl with pole dancing. Classy.

The Railway Tavern
The Railway Tavern is certainly good for a laugh with your mates, but on a Friday night it can sometimes get a bit claustrophobic due to the popularity. It has a comfy old fashioned feel, and the bar-staff are very friendly and work as fast as they can. There is often live music in the beer garden and has a great atmosphere. With cheap drinks, deals on house spirits, a pool table and a large beer garden, it is definitely a place you need to visit upon visiting Nuneaton. Downside is only that is it slightly worn, but most people would call it loved.
