This cafe/restaurant has long been a favourite of mine but now under new management it has become a MUST. The menu is inspired by the Montignac diet (the first low GI guru)and is delicious. It's so healthy even the puddings are sugar free and made using wholemeal flour. It's so convincingly indulgent that every boy I know that has been there loves it too. If I lived next door I'd make it my local. The lemon tart is a must, as is the chickpea choc chip cookie but I could honestly eat it all!
The new prices are more reasonable. A large mixed salad plate to share is 10 and provided ample food so much so you might have to save the chocolate cake til tea.
