Paramount Pizzas has been in Lisburn for at least 15 years. It has always offered a good alternative to the “same old” pizzas of Pizza Hutt and the like. At Paramount Pizzas the pizzas are imaginatively named with interesting combinations of toppings. The pizza bases are thick and the toppings chunky and plentiful so you can really enjoy getting tucked into one of their pizzas. The pizzas are made fresh in front of you and you can watch them being slung in the oven and enjoy the cooking aroma of the pizza before it is taken from the oven, promptly sliced and placed in a box to take away and enjoy as quickly and freshly as you like.

Would any trip to the Lisburn Omniplex be complete without a fine pizza and a beer or soft drink at Pizza Hutt? In this large, roomy restaurant you can be almost always guaranteed of immediate seating, prompt service and decent food to the standard of all restaurants in the chain.
Perhaps this is not the place for the most adventurous diner but it does offer good, filling food at reasonable prices and if you are calling in before a movie or lunch during a shopping day, you can be sure to be seated and served in good time to make the most of your day.

The King’s Head is a unique place. It has the style and presence of a more traditional pub but enjoys a clientele of locals and a young revels on a night out. The bar is situated just outside Belfast city centre – just before the Lisburn Road and is an impressive, established bar and restaurant that attracts a vibrate customer base.
At the King’s Head you can enjoy a quiet drink and meal or, for a popular weekend night out, it is an excellent choice of venue whether for the whole evening or as the start of trail into the city centre. Recommended for all.

O’Brien’s offers good, hearty, freshly made sandwiches for eat in or take away. The sandwich bar is set up to allow easy walk in but with seating to the rear of the premises.
For a quick bite to take away or to sit and enjoy lunch with a friend or over a magazine, O’Brien’s offers both. The sandwich bar is open for most of the day and always has fresh food and drinks on offer at reasonable, although not the cheapest, prices.
The O’Brien’s sandwich bars are close to all points of the city centre and are informal, friendly spots to call for refreshments while on a day’s shopping or to meet up with friends for a satisfying lunch.

A Bar for All
There are few bars like the famous Crown Liquor Saloon. It is the perfect place to enjoy a quiet pint or a satisfying evening out.
The bar is a National Trust property and attracts tourists and locals alike. Even as a customer – with many years of enjoying the Crown’s excellent Guinness and relaxed atmosphere – I am still struck by the many features and detail that stretch from floor to ceiling: the original tiled floor, stained glass, chocolate-hued plaster ceiling and spacious railway carriage type “snugs”.
At any time of the day, The Crown has an easy mix of locals and visitors from afar. It is always a warming sight to watch a first time foreign customer enjoy their first taste of Guinness and marvel at the wonderful interior. Both tourists and locals alike can enjoy each other’s stories and strangers sharing a snug soon get chatting. A visit to The Crown will give you interesting characters, unique surroundings, and good pints served by knowledgeable and friendly staff!
