King's Cross Station
This rail station is on Euston Road, and the trains from all their lines go northwards. This station is literally next door to St Pancreas and they even share some of the services like the underground interchange network.

The shops here are smaller than St Pancreas and this station seems more crowded than St Pancreas as well, so in all its not as nice.

The main departure board is where all the people congregate to see about trains arriving and departing from.

As this is next door to St Pancreas, the tube station serves both trains stations and is an interchange for six tube lines, (Circle, Hammersmith & City, Metropolitan Line, Northern (City Branch), Piccadilly and Victoria ). I can tell you that these are very busy with people travelling into and out of the stations and as there are two of them and six underground lines, when peak times come around it van get very busy and very crowded. If any emergency, delays or strikes, these can be horrendous, so always check the travel news.

With bus routes outside along with the city of London, you can opt for balck cabs as well if you needed so there are a lot of alternatives.

As a last point on Kings Cross, this is the where platform 9 ¾'s is from the infamous Harry Potter films and even has a trolley embedded into the wall half in and out where tourists go and take their pictures with.

Kings Cross Pizza Express
This is on Euston Road and is quite a big pizza restaurant. It has the standard menu and if you love Pizza Express pizzas then you can never go wrong in any of their restaurants or this one in London.
It is near two train stations and underground stations and many bus routes so this should never be a problem.
One problem with this place is that this restaurant can get very busy and therefore service can be delayed, for example, when you go to pay, there may be no waitress around and you have to wait.

There are a couple of little sofas that you can wait for if you are waiting for a table, meeting someone or if you are picking up a pizza to go. They do a takeout service but you have to pick it up yourself and so can use the sofa if needs be. To be honest, most people who like Pizza Express eat in as they like this place so much and it is popular.

McDonald's
This small McDonalds is in Angel but off to one side. It's not a big one but is situated a little out of the way and if you are passing or fancy some takeaway then this is one place to definitely consider. It is however clean and comfortable and a nice place to visit.

As it is clean and functional, it is also not always busy so getting a seat should not be a problem and if you want to use facilities nearby, it all just a short walk away, from the shops, the cinema, or just needing to travel through the main road for a bus or get to Angel tube station.

Kentish Town Tesco Express
This little express is handy if you want to just drop in and pick up a few things and are in a hurry. If you live near Kentish Town Road and you have a busy lifestyle or are on the go then dropping in here can be a solution.

You will however get what you pay for and that's convenience. So you can pick up the pint of milk, crisps and chocolate bar; even a magazine or a newspaper but as this is only an express, there won't be a great selection more than this really, so the selection on offer is rather small.

Somerfield in Kentish Town
This convenient Somerfield is located on the main High Street and though it is small, it still provides quite a range of things on offer and they also have deals on things as well.

Though this place can get busy and crowded, if you are unable to get elsewhere to shop, then this place can provide what you need, but you will have to pay for it here. It's a trade off between convenience and time saving, against variety and price. So you get what you pay for, in this case the convenience and that comes with a slightly higher price tag.

Camden Pizza Express
This Pizza Express is just a few minutes walk away from the main junction at Camden tube station on Parkway.

It is a small Pizza Express and has two floors, the downstairs is down some small steps where they have lavatories as well. The top floor looks onto the street and you might get a window table which is not a bad thing if you don't mind people seeing you from right outside. The downstairs section has no windows and so outside views.

If you like Pizza Express, then you will like having this one locally and near the main junction with all the other shops and travel connections by public transport close by.

This pizzeria can get busy and as it is a small one, this can be cramped when busy.

Burger King in Camden
This Burger King on Camden High Street is small and functional. It caters for those that like burger king and their products. It has competition with other fast food restaurants in the area and it's just not as nice as even its main competition in the area.

It might be a liked place but the toilet are ok, a bit grimy and the place just seems dark and gloomy for some reason. It just doesn't seem vibrant, modern or popular. Maybe it's the location or size of this restaurant.

I think that if you weren't actually looking for this place to visit personally, you could just walk on by and not even realise it was there almost.

McDonald's in Camden
This is a bit of a more unusual McDonalds as it has two floors. The smaller floor downstairs has the counters and tables and seats you order your meals from and can sit down.

Then you can go upstairs as well, which is bigger and here you can use the toilet facilities if they are needed. You take the stairs to get to these.

The place is clean and the staff are friendly and outside of peak times does not get too busy so say around lunchtime on a weekday is a good place to get a meal if you are shopping on Camden High Street.

Angel Vue
The Vue cinema in Angel is a big multiplex. You can get to from the main road and the closest tube station is Angel, but you have to walk a bit to get to here.

It's very big and spacious and coupled with the large screens and state of the art sound gives you a great performance if this is what you are looking for.

They have their popcorn and other things you can but, but these can be expensive and being in London, the prices for tickets are not cheap either.

If you want a trip out and fancy the cinema though, this is a good place to go to. You can always eat something at a local fast food restaurant like a nearby McDonalds or being something with you if you really want.

But if you like the while cinema experience, then you can't go too wrong here. Avoid the busy times or not and its still a great experience here.

Large Sainsbury's in Camden
This main Sainsbury's supermarket is located on Camden Road, near to Camden tube station.

This is a very large Sainsbury's and had just been refurbished this year. It has a car park at the back and improvements include cash machines on the outside and bigger interior and more aisles inside, with more products and customer toilets.

There always seems to offers of one kind or another one and with many checkouts you have many options to pick from, including self service.

Staff are always on hand and available if you need anything and there are always plenty of trolleys and hand baskets available.

This supermarket can get very busy and you can still end up queuing and as late night approaches, this shop starts to close checkout tills, but there is never usually a really long wait at these times.

On weekdays it is open till 12 midnight, but closes at 10pm on Saturday, and is open 11am to 5pm on a Sunday.
