Japanese pancakes

When i heard UK's first or Europe for that matter, okonomiyaki restaurant in London i was excited. The food is very amazing, and it is cooked in front of you, so a bit like a mini version of teppanyaki. I got to admit the space is not particular comfy or spacy. i do advise to sit near the window where there is more leg room. Also i feel bad for saying this.. but the cost of these okonomiyaki is well over priced compared to Japan, but then again its about supply and demand. This place is definite a place to come eat if you have not tried Okonomiyaki.

Finally a nice steak house

Those who live in Hackney can tell over the past few years the quality just gets better and better. The complete tranformation of broadway market still astonishes me. That said when Buen Ayre was open, i immediately fell in love the restaurant. We are not talking about steak which is flatted out, dry and tasteless that you will in pubs these days. This was steak was huge as if it was just chopped off from a cow. Anyone tried the suagages there.. man they are huge. The food there is lovely and service is quality everytime i have been there. The dissappointed thing i can say is that it is always packed out, full of people, and it can be hard to get a reservation there.

good cocktail bar which is not as crowded

I was recommended here, and i got to say this is one of my favourite bars in London, they do all sort of cocktails and it is not as crowded, the decor is also amazing. I guess it is not as crowded because its hidden away in the heart of Soho, or the layout makes it look that way. Although sometime the Djs could be better.

Taro man actually is real

This was truly a gem i found in London. I remember at the beginning it was mainly japanese people eating there. Now the word has got out.. people are flooding in, and a second restaurant had to be open with bigger space. The ramen and rice there are beautiful, I convince my girlfriend that why eat at Wagamama when you can eat almost the same thing here and a much cheaper price.

Convenient Sushi

I love this restaurant, just wished it open all through out the day and all through the night. While most people go kfc, or Mac'ds for a quick bite, either before meeting friends or going out clubbing, i come here. Food is cheap, its self service mostly, and it feels like i was in Tokyo Japan again, those sushi bars on the underground. A much better option than Yo Sushi. Also there are ALOT of variety of sushi here, just that if it is not on the conveyor belt, you can ask the chef to make it for you.

Clanging with Spatulas
Situated on Middlesbrough, this restaurant has a good vibe as well as good food. Any lunch time meal comes free with a soup and salad, i had the seafood noodle soup, its was very delicious. I originally tried this place because it looked very relaxing and chilled, but whilst i was eating, other customers were ordering teppanyaki. It was very great watching the chef cooking on a metal hot plate but you can't really call clanging together spatulas and the sizzling sound of food cooking peace and quiet, HOWEVER i got to admit i did not mind it. It was background noise which added to the ambience and atmosphere of the restaurant even though it lasted for about a minute, something i needed after a long depressing boring day at work. I enjoyed my green tea and watching passers by on the busy main street. I definetly will come here again.
