We had lunch here today, it serves good, continental style food and makes me feel a sort of comforting nostalgia for a life I have never led. Large, wooden, country house style tables on stone floors, breakfast items such as porridge, muesli and boiled eggs as well as a bread menu! Heaven.

This is essentially our local wine shop and so I am likely to love it. It is a 'concept' shop, in that the wine is divided into wine types, for example, 'fresh and lively' and each type is separated into price bands, starting at around £5 and finishing at about £20. this may not appeal to those that consider themselves wine buffs but I like wine and have developed an interest over the years and I like the shop. The wine is of good quality and they rotate the stock frequently so you may discover some new ones. They also do wine tastings on Tuesdays but I have yet to go to one.
