Nice decor within the restaurant and the ambience very good, the only problem I had was the our table was very near an annoying plant. The service was pretty good and the food fairly spicy but I didn't find any of it speciall even though there are some very unique dishes available but that could be because I was sticking to vegetarian only dishes. Location is bit difficult to find parking for near the station, so maybe the tube is better, the staff are fairly friendly and it's worth a try but personally the food to me was fairly bland and nothing great so I don't think I will be returning there unfortunately.

Nice rooms but poor crowd/music/staff
Queue early here as if you don't it's a long queue and the stuck up staff are very picky on who they let in so you'll be lucky. I was on the guest list and I still had trouble getting in as it was already 10-11pm! Once you get past the pretentious door people there's a nice balcony bit to see the whole floor and the floor is fairly big. Drinks expensive and go into the inner room at the bottom floor for a chill out room to take a break rather than stand at the other packed bar in the main room. They are dancers for entertainment which are pretty good, but for the entry fee and the crowd (teeny boppers) it's not really worth the trouble getting in.

Nice place for chinese on the cheap
Situated on Gants Hill corner, where the old Natwest Bank was, this is a large Chinese restaurant with a great buffet offer (£13) for unlimited dishes, just make sure you can finish everything you order as you are charged extra if you don't finish each dish ( I think a pretty good idea). The food is pretty good, especially for the price, has lots of space inside so on weekdays not that many people but busy on the normal weekend times. Good service which is quick and the value can't really be beaten for a sit down meal and the staff are pretty friendly as well, Parking is recommended on the road off Beehive lane which is directly behind the restaurant.

Good Quality Thai restaurant
Thai restaurant located in the middle of the Canary Wharf district, nice for a posh dinner or just an after work drink. The food is different obviously and can be quite hot as it is Thai food, but there is plenty that is bland and not hot at all. Good selection of starters and mains, and if you are after a quiet meal than get a table upstairs where there is a nice ambience even when busy with city workers. They can fit large groups as well as it is quite large and normally loads of space in the bar so you can grab snacks with drinks on the downstairs level. Trendy decor so it's worth checking out even if not a big fan of Thai food.

Reasonable food, quite expensive
Situated a 5-10minutes away from Canary Wharf station, a very nicely laid out place and pretty good service. Really nice food, loads for vegetarians as well as meat eaters, really good food and a very large menu. The only let down is the price which is pretty expensive especially if you have a wide range of dishes. The takeaway service is not so good with a 11am order delivered at 2pm one time and all the wrong items delivered and some missing so dine in is recommended. For a nice posh Chinese/Oriental, this is the place to go but you will end up spending quite a bit so be warned!

Good sushi at reasonable prices
Itsu has two branches in Canary Wharf, one a pitstop branch for just takeaway only at lunchtime near the tube, and the other on the 4th floor near Cabot Square. The eat in option does not have the most homely atmosphere, rather a functional design. We chose to sit on seats away from the conveyor belt grabbing the food every 10 minutes or so. Sitting at the conveyor belt is handy though but as you keep picking dishes you better watch your bill. All the usual sushi favourites but Itsu has become a bit average in terms of taste for me and I prefer Wasabi at the moment but as there isn't a Wasabi sit down option available in the Wharf at the moment, Itsu will have to suffice.

Decent Indian food (Halal as well) good value
Nice location in Canary Wharf's Jubilee Place, just minutes away from the tube. Indian food with good presentation in Metal "tiffin" pots which allow a variety of dishes in one meal. I don't think it's too spicy and it's good value as well. Lots of space to sit down in and even when busy at lunchtimes, nearly always a table available without too much time to wait if there isn't. Takeaway also an option, normally get a chicken or lamb kebab rolls which are very generous and tasty and they are prepared pretty fast (waited less than 10 minutes). For a quick indian which tastes pretty good and halal, then this is a good choice in Canary Wharf.

Great view of the wharf and good food
Located at the top of the Waitrose building in Canary Wharf (where the Reebok Gym is located) a really well designed place with seperate grill and bar restaurant as well as normal gourmet food. Well dressed staff and good service but fairly pricey food. the seabass is good and the starters also very nice. Superb view of the main Canary Wharf buildings as well as the green grass at the front, looks great on a sunny day and they even have a table outside the roofing. Small portions for the price and you will need all 3 courses to satisfy your hunger, everyone always well dressed and a lot of custom head for the bar after work as a classy ambience.

Great for a morning bagel
As I get into work so early this is the place to come for a treat or if i'm late and need to get breakfast in for the whole team! Any type of bagel (Wholemeal, Seasame, Onion, Cheddar, you name it they've got it!) and a whole raft of fillings from the favourite bacon and brown sauce (which I don't eat) to Tuna Melt and my personal favourite running food, Tuna Bagel which is Tuna Mayo with lemon juice and a cucumber. The Bagel's can be toasted as well while waiting (couple of minutes) and the usual smoothies and coffees are also available. Great value as well, around £2-4 and remember to grab a loyalty card as if you grab loads of bagels like me, then you can get some free ones for return custom, likeable manager here and friendly staff who handle the multiple orders. You can also phone in advance so they prepare before you pick up.

24 hour food which is rare in London
US style dinner near Old Street (all Halal food as well including halal bacon made from veal for the all day breakfast), an essential stop if your looking for decent food at anytime including early mornings! The main attraction here is the milkshakes which are massive US style with all sorts of toppings like Oreo Cookies and Coke Floats so pretty unique and many people go there just for the desserts. The main food is pretty good and wide ranging, from the US burger style (fills you up) and noodle dishes as well (which I was impressed with) so I give a thumbs up on the food. The decor is diner style but I find the tables a bit grubby as are the toilets. Waitress style service is good and some people may like the MTV huge LCD screens everywhere as it makes it lively but I'm no such a big fan. Can be queues on fri and sat nights as can get very busy, try Hampstead one as may be better from what I have heard.
