Sweaty
Usually a strip club, Isis opens its doors on a Wednesday night to the masses of UON sports students (mainly rugby people). Has been nicknamed crisis because so many fights break out. Music is ok, the usual stuff. They do horrible cheap vodka red bulls (but they are cheap).

Good tourist information centre selling the usual Robin Hood themed stuff etc. Does not have any info about nightlife though - trustedplaces is probably better!

Disgusting
Normally has human excrement on the stairwell. Do not feel safe in it walking alone. Badly designed and hard to drive longer cars up the ramps.

Jukebox!!!
Has a brilliant jukebox with all the best songs on. Friendly and you can always chat to the locals. Good beer on tap, a pool table. Has just been done up I believe with a bit of an extension to make it even better.

Amazing toilets
You have to go here just to see the toilets, concealed within a bookcase. This place houses the darker side of Nottingham life, with some quality music on if you fancy a change from the usual cheese of the city.

Good pub with lovely decor - quite modern. There is a room with a huge log fire which is brilliant in the winter and has a bit more atmosphere than the more clinical bar room.

Good food
The food here is really really nice. I just feel that the place is lacking in a little atmosphere as most of the locals go to pubs closer to home. It's too expensive for me at £3.50 a pint but they have good ale on tap.

If you're looking for a lovely meal out then it's worth a visit.

Has a Pub quiz every Thursday I think. Excellent ale, crisp selection. Really friendly staff. They have a dog and a massive cat as well.

iTunes Festival
Went here for the iTunes festival 2008 - queued outside for a couple of hours and got free tickets to see Pendulum/InMe. Pretty good value. The club is like nothing I have ever seen before - an old theatre with multiple stories so you can see the stage from wherever you are. Brilliant atmosphere.

My only gripe was that there weren't enough toilets (3). Would love to go again.
