Now, they say having a good local pub is a good thing. Well, having the Old White Lion within strolling distance is a fantastic opportunity indeed.

Literally seconds out of East Finchley tube station, this pub is relaxed yet trendy. In the chilled out beer garden there are interesting antiques, and a sheltered area adjoining the pub.

Great drinks, good food and reasonable prizes. Perhaps the ladies, although adequate, could improve?

If you're in the Finchley area, give this place a try.

Great food, reasonable prices, quaint turn of the century decor.

Fabulous menu, impressive specials and some gorgeous desserts too.

Rumour has it Gordon Ramsay dropped by a couple of weeks ago and liked the food.

Lunchtime ciabatta salads gorgeous and under a fiver.

You can eat in the main room, a private function room or in the gorgeous orangery.

This is THE place to eat in the Brecks.
