Great day out
The tower of london is so imposing and the kids really enjoyed our recent visit here. We had a half price entry ticket with our tube ticket so that saved quite a lot of money. The crown jewels are a must see, they are breath taking and the way they are laid out is very good and easy for you to see. The white tower has some fantastic stuff on show including henry the 8's armor and a gallery full of beautiful carved wooden full sized horses. The bloody tower is interesting too, but quite cramped so visit it on a cooler day, as the ques are always quite long to get in and it does get quite stuffy and hot. The restaurant is a bit pricey but you can take food with you if you are going for the whole day, so much to see here you will need to stay a while to see it all.

Fit for a queen
What an imposing and truly beautiful palace this is. Full of our history and still home to the royal family. As you walk through the park towards the palace it comes in to view and its superb. There are always lots of people outside waiting to catch a glimpse of some one royal and peering through the bars to see the guards men. The royal mews can be visited too and you can get a ticket that allows you to re visit during the same year with out paying another entrance fee. The inside of the palace can only be visited at certain times of the year, so you do need to check this before you go. You will not be able to see the whole of the interior. Do go you will enjoy a visit here.

Well if you want some thing quick and do not mind that it is a bit greasy and full of hidden calories then kfc is for you. The chips here are never as good as the mcdonalds ones, always a bit too soggy, why I do not know. But the pop corn chicken is good, and the wraps are nice when freshly made. The value for money is ok, but the food is some times a bit hit and miss. Not really very good if you are a non meat eater though as chicken is what you get. Not sure if I really like it, so having been a couple of times, I ask my self why bother. still some people love the stuff and it can get busy.

Ok what can I say, the place is pretty average, some times you can go in and its nice and clean but other times it really needs sorting out. It offers the usual menu that you expect and the quality of the take away food that there is on offer does vary a lot. Sometimes the food is all freshly cooked and as junk food goes is ok, other times it really has been sitting there for too long and is not so good. Why keep going back, well thats easy, some times no matter how bad it all is for you, you just want a fast food meal and this is the one we all love. You know what to expect. But we all love a burger.

Got to give this place 5 stars after all the whole shop is full of scrummy things. The staff are usually helpful but hey, its chocolate , so it would not stop me going in to buy a gift for some one. Every one is impressed by a huge box of thorntons. You can buy some boxed items and have the name of the person you want written on in white chocolate icing. You can also get gift boxes wrapped, I think it still costs £2.50 for a large wrapped gist and very small ones under £5 are only 50p, makes them look great. They sell toffee too but I am a chocolate lover so they do not get a look in.

We love this place, god these things are soo delicious and really addictive, we always end up buying them, its soo bad for the waistline. The selection is huge, toffee cookies, choc orange, double chocolate, white chocolate, even a banana flavour cookie, there is a cookie for every one. The prices are not cheap, but the gift boxes do offer really good value, thats if you have not eaten them before you give out you gift. They come in either 12 or 18 cookies at £4.99 and £5.99 a box. But can you resist them, the answer to that is a definate no.

stayed here as last time had booked the hilton at wembley and that was not all that great and more expensive than this place. You are near to the stadium, which looks fab when lit up at night and you are close to a tube and main line train station, so you can easily get back after an evening on the town. There is an off licence and mcdonalds near by if you need them too. Over all this place is ok and offers reasonable rooms for a fair price but some of the newer express by holiday inns are better. Usually breakfast is incuded in the rate you pay. Get your self a loyalty card and collect points to get a free night any where in one of the groups hotels, book on line for cheaper member rates too

for a place to stay in london you can not beat a travelodge. there are some great deals to be had at the moment for the end of this year from £9 on certain dates and often for £29 if you book well in advance. The family rooms are ok, not huge but all you need is a place to sleep after an exciting day out and the standard of this one is generally good, it is close to lots of stuff you will want to see. Do not expect it to be plush, you do get what you pay for here, but what you have saved in accomodation costs you can spend on entertaining the kids. Would stay again for the right room rate, its better than some i have stayed at.

This place is so beautiful both the outside and the inside and is a great venue. There is lots of info on the website about forth coming events so you can plan your visit. It is not just for classical stuff like opera and the proms, the schedule of events is so varied you will surely find some thing to go see. Since the place opened there have been over 150,000 performances. There are 13 bars and a 3 of places to eat too, you can also pre order food or drink for the boxes. You can also go on one of the daily tours and see and learn things you would not normally be able to. Tickets for the royal philharmonic current performances are priced quite well so book up and don't miss out.

We always wanted to visit this place ok so he was not real, but who cares, its great to see. Easy to find and great to tell your friends that you have been.
Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson were supposed to have lived in a Victorian lodging house at 221b Baker Street between 1881-1904, in the stories written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. They got in to many scrapes and solved many crimes too.
It is open as a museum dedicated to the life of Sherlock Holmes, and the interior has been made to look exactly as it was written in the published stories.
The famous study overlooking Baker Street that has been in so many films. Visitors can sit in Mr Holmes’s armchair by the fireside to pose for photos, and see his bedroom adjoining the study. His things are in their usual places: his deerstalker, magnifying glass, pipe, violin, chemistry stuff, notebook and disguises, kids will enjoy it if they have seen any of the films that have been on the tv.
