Only 1 star because i have to, i got food poisoning from here, not surprised really the state of the food, phoned up and complained the next day, only to be told to go and f*ck yourself, if your ill i hope you die. Enough said really, but avoid if you value your life.

I will give this one three stars, purely because it has a charm about it, tucked away off Greenwich south street is this strange, worn and tatty looking place, step inside and you are back to basics, a pub, nothing more nothing less, traditional hand pumped beers, a selection of lagers and bar snacks. I liked this place, if only for its honesty, sure everything's a little worn, but that doesn't matter, the locals love it for what it is, so why shouldn't everyone else, if you want a trendy theme pub this isn't it. Perfect for a quiet pint and a read of the paper.

Well worthy of four stars in my opinion, a far cry from the place it used to be, me my wife and my inlaws all came here for a meal, good attentive staff, reasonable selection of beers and lagers, although we werent too happy with the bottle of wine we let the waiter recommend, but each to their own taste, the food although pricey was actually really good, the rest of my party, all having something different, all agreed it was good, what you find if you all order different things is one or two can arive at different times, so you either wait or start without the others, not the case here all arrived at same time, all a good temperature. well done i would and will go again.

Cheap ish and cheerful noodle house, good selection of food available, i hope your not shy because, its compact dining at its best, herded in like cattle and seated on wooden benches, not the place to propose to a loved one, the staff are fast and efficient, although i constantly had the feeling i was moving along on a conveyor belt and as soon as i was seated, they wanted to take my money and ship me out of the door making space for the next punter in the line. If you want your belly filling for a reasonable price and dont expect a fine dining experience, then give this place a go.

What can you say about a wooden hut at the side of the road, well quire a lot actually, this place has been there for years, offering the usual bacon butty and a cup of tea by the side of the road. There are no thrills with this place, not even a toilet, it is perfectly situated opposite Greenwich park on the very busy blackheath hill. Everyone from cabbies, motorcyclists, to lorry drivers stop here, its nothing fancy, standard food, hot and cold drinks, fairly reasonable prices. I personally like this place, it is what it is, no pretense, if your passing and you fancy a cup of tea or a bacon butty pull over and give it a go.

If ever there was a pub trying to keep its head above water this is it. With the brake down of communitys in the area which were the only thing keeping local pubs alive, this one did not move with the times, even if it tried to now i fear it would be all too late. The landlord is a welcoming kind of person, but with so few customers i guess anybody walking through the doors is welcome. The decor is tired and worn, it is a museum to the hay day of local pubs, except the locals have all grown up, sold up, and moved on. Im sorry to say it may be time to shut the door on this one, but dont forget to put the cat out first.

I used to live around the corner from this place at one point in my life, it is a tiny little sandwich bar, offering the usual selection off fillings, the bread always seemed fresh, the place was clean and tidy, but when your this small you have to be tidy and efficient, it has a few stools and a bar to perch on in the front window, so i suppose you could call it eat in dinning. It relies mainly on passing trade, with the odd student from the college around the corner or people visiting the local court house, which is close by.

How do these places survive, offering the same menu for not just years but decades, we are constantly changing our eating habits but these places never seem to move forward, but i suppose you know what your going to get, a standard sized meal, standard sized portions everything carefully proportioned. The one advantage these places have over other fast food joints is, you get table service and food on real plates and that cant be all bad can it, the wimpy in Greenwich tucked back from the main road in a little parade of shops offers everything you expect and no more, its clean well presented, although fading and showing its age, reasonably priced, it is what it is another wimpy.

I'm a big fan of deli food i could quite easily spend my life eating nothing else, i try not to judge places too easily so i visited this place twice. It is a charming, comfortable place, offering a large selection of delicacy's the coffee was ok but seemed to be lacking something, i expected better from a place like this, the food however was absolutely delicious,but rather on the expensive side, as for the staff, well i think the girl serving me must have been having 2 off days, i say 2 because she was the same on both occasions, she always looked and acted like she was getting ready to serve the next person coming in rather than giving me all her attention while serving me. sorry to say i wont be going back, but the food is nice.

Situated in the heart of Greenwich is this fine Indian restaurant, the curry has become a staple of the British,dining experience over the years, and this ones offerings will not disappoint, the usual selection of food is on offer, all very tasty and always served with a smile, the restaurant is clean and well presented, there is limited seating upstairs, but down stairs it turns into a tardis, offering cozy dining. It can suffer from the inevitable drunken idiot looking for a curry fix after a skin full of lager around town, but the staff are always able to defuse any situations with their smiling and calm charisma.
