Out for a meal event with the colleagues in this restaurant, I actually found it surprisingly good and well priced. Being out with so many different people is always tricky, in case someone doesn't some particular type of cuisine, but luckily, the range of dishes is very broad, and everybody finds something they will fancy.
One downside is the fact that the restaurant is in a very trendy area; they feel obliged to have some loud music. It can make it difficult to have a normal conversation.
Prices are interestingly low for a place in this particular area and you should be able to get away with a nice meal for under £20.

I am not particularly keen on Indian food, mainly because of the spice. Ironically, most of the dishes chosen when going to Deolali came back fairly hot, hence the three stars only, however, the food was really tasty and nice.
Another downside was the size of the portions. Four of us had many dishes and sides, plus rice and Naans. It felt that we had finished them a bit too quickly. Or maybe it was because the food was just too nice...
The atmosphere and the setting of the place are very nice and classy. So much so that they seem to influence on the price a little bit.

A nice little 'fast food' restaurant for a quick meal.
This cafe proposes dishes and en-cas that are served quickly and efficiently. You can sit inside or outside, by the river (a few feet below) weather permitting.
Dishes include traditional seaside food and salads. The all wood furniture makes it very attractive and gives a cosy atmosphere to the place. It is also far enough from any passing cars that would disturb your meal.
Overall, pricing is correct and you should nod leave the table hungry.
The only downside is the size of the restaurant. You will have to be early/lucky or patient during summer season to be able to sit down at lunchtime. But it only proves the popularity of the place.

I love the Cafe Rouge. It's always a bit busy at normal meal time, but if you are a bit patient - and you would have to be when you wait for your food - you will enjoy the - almost - traditional French food.
Favorite dishes include Goats Cheese Salad and he almighty Garlic Cheese.
The best thing about a chain restaurant of course is the fact that wherever you are, if you like it in one place, you will find exactly the same elsewhere.
You can also enjoy the cafe part of the place. If you go out of meal time, enjoy a large Hot Chocolate with cream, or a simple Espresso.

In a picturesque decor, the restaurant offers a wide range of delicious dishes. The ambiance will make you feel like you at home. Just by the river and next to the town mill, if you decide to eat outside, you will not be disturbed. You can enjoy the traditional food and the atmosphere so utterly romantic. The food served vary from traditional seaside dishes to more daring tastes. Obviously, vegetarian are welcome, and you will be able to enjoy a full meal without having to select the only one dish.
If you ever stop in Lyme Regis (and you really should), don't hesitate.

Vegetarian food
Sibila's restaurant is all about vegetarian food and even proposes some vegan dishes. The service is impeccable, and the atmosphere is nice and relaxing, but most of all, the food is succulent. Having been there many times and having tried many different dishes, the conclusion has to be that you will never be disappointed. Different tastes are available (Mediterranean, western, oriental, mild or spicy), and it is even easy to take children for a nice night out.
The restaurant is by a canal, in a very quiet atmosphere, and if you're luck, you will enjoy the company of swans while eating.
Try it, you will not think twice before going again.
