Very good thai food
The Lotus Thai Restaurant is situated on the high street above Piccolos and the cancer research charity shop. It is fairly small in size. They have very good thai food, and brilliant, friendly service. The food is typical, green and red curries and the like, but of good quality, and reasonably priced.

My friends and I were treated to some amazing traditional dancing during our evening which was an unexpected suprise. Traditional costumes and headdresses were worn by the dancers including golden fingers! A good night was had by all. A very good restaurant, I would definately recommend making a booking.

Good for breakfast
The Citrus Cafe is a sweet cafe in the centre of Falmouth town with harbour views and an outside seating area that gets morning sunshine, hence a good cafe to go for breakfast. (Just be careful of the seagulls.) The continental breakfast is yummy.

The citrus cafe does get very busy, especially during the summer season so service can be slow. This can be worse if you are sitting outside.

They serve good lunch food including ciabattas, jacket potatoes and homemade potato wedges, but it is best to avoid the lunch rush.

It is not a place to go for the best cake.

Your average wetherspoons
This is a fairly large wetherspoons called the Packet Station, serving the usual cheap food and drinks. One of the cheapest places to drink in falmouth, it also lacks the character and style of the other local pubs.

Fairly good noodles. Typical long table style dining, so be prepared to sit among other customers.
Fairly lively atmosphere.

Not as good as noodle bars such as Wagamamas.

Busy Club
Always busy, remedies is usually the students' choice. Monday night is student night and is always packed. Expect the queue to get in to be long.

The music is orientated towards pop/hip/hop/cheesy/dance.
It has two floors, a cage, and a pole. It attracts quite a varied crowd of all ages.

It is also open during the day for drinks and pool.

Snazzy but not great
The Shed is situated in Events Square close to the Maritime Museum which is great on a fine day or evening but not so good on a wet and windy one as the square is open to the elements!

It looks snazzy, and the shed is quite studenty with regular cocktail offers. The food however is not very good, and neither are the staff usually.

Its a place to hang out and drink milkshakes and cocktails, but be prepared to stand if you are just going for a drink. It attracts quite a trendy crowd, and the atmosphere is usually noisy and lively, with pop and indie music.

Rural Location
Out in the country, the pub is a bouncy ride down small country roads. The staff were friendly, but the food is nothing special - i think that the menu is too big resulting in a hit or miss kind of dining.

The quiz night is fun!

A good local pub
This has been my local pub for three years. Lively at the weekends, there is a good pool table, darts and table football table.

They always seem to be playing motown music whenever i'm in there which i really like! Its never too rowdy and has a mixed clientele which makes it an interesting place to drink and socialise. They also have a garden space at the front with stunning views of the harbour.

The Seaview is not situated in Falmouth's main town area but it is definately worth the climb up the hill if you are looking for a cosy, friendly place for a drink. They do not serve food though.

Not that great
Average pizza place halfway up the old high street. It is always very busy, especially with families. It is reasonably priced and the service is good. The range of pizzas are okay which makes it popular for large group bookings. The food is very average and I think that the basic dishes such as lasagna/ bolognase are not that great. You could cook definately cook better at home. The decor is average cheesy italian-esque with lots of fake flowers/pillars etc.

It often has a lively family atmosphere. I would not suggest that it was a good venue for a romantic italian meal.
