The food there seems to be much more reliable than at the restaurant next door - so far I've not had a bad lunch there. The Meze plates are good - everything is fresh and flavourful. They also do some nice savoury pastries.

Tas Cafe is on the peripheries of the Borough Market Saturday scrum, but is just far away enough to not be overly crowded.

Cosy pub. to call it a Garstropub would be to undersell the cosy atmosphere of a welcoming local. Sunday brunches are excellent. The Eggs Benedict in particular are an excellent hangover cure.

Some interesting pieces here. The multimedia guide (rather than the straight audio) is worth the investment. The 7th floor restaurant and bar - whilst more crowded than the members room - also has excellent views. Worth the climb.

Very useful budget eat. The juices *are* fantastic. However if you are less in search of quantity, try the Thai food in the Elephant and Castle pub across the Old Kent Road.
