The Grinch is quite a popular little place to go. I first went here a while back on my Christmas night out and I had a really good time. After the Christmas do I thought I’d go back and try it again not when it was full of works nights out and it’s a good place to start the night off in. It also serves meals which are good too and they aren’t too dear. I’ve heard that the pizza is really good although I don’t eat it myself. I’d recommend this place either for something to eat or a night out.

The Rtiz can be one of them places where you can have a really good night out then the next you don’t. So it all just depends on the night when you go and whether there are any acts on. It does have artists on so it’s worth finding out what’s on, on the night that you go. It occasionally has some gigs in here and it’s actually a good venue for this. If you have never been then its worth going once to see whether you like it or not, but it’s worth going just to go on the dance floor as its spring loaded and you can have some fun on it I’d try it out before you make your mind up.

Loaf is situated in Deansgate Locks and is a very trendy place to go. About a couple of years ago it was always packed out and it was a must go place in Manchester so much so that it took ages to queue outside, however times have changed and so it’s not that busy anymore. It’s a good thing that its not as busy because you don’t always want somewhere that is so full. It is a huge place in side and has a restaurant upstairs which sells really good food, i used to like to have my dinner here then go downstairs to where the club is then you’re already in there rather than walking around. It still is a place to go so would recommend it.

I have been to this place a couple of times but i can’t make my mind up as to whether I like it or not. Font Bar is situated just off Oxford Road under the bridge at Oxford road station. It’s quite a small place and its spread over two floors. Whenever I have been it has always been really busy and there has been no where to stand so I have always just had one drink then moved on to somewhere else. It does have really good music but the last time I went I it was really hot and sweaty so I’m not sure if I like it or not. I always hear really good reviews about it so I want to like it but I’m not sure if I do!

The Printworks is such a good place to be. If anyone has never been here.... then where have you been?! There are loads of different bars to go and have a good night out or to have a meal with places such as Tiger Tiger, Nando’s Chiquitos, a gym, the Odeon, Yum Yums and lots more. Therefore it’s a great place to go as if there are a lot of you and you can’t decide where to go then there is always something in here to suit everybody. There is a lot of security about so it makes it feel like a safe environment and it has a really good atmosphere about the place.

This is a really nice place to go for a quiet drink in the day or it’s really good to start the night off with a few drinks before you move onto somewhere else. This place is ideally located in Deansgate and this is why it’s such a good location as its easier to move on to another location. If you are reading this and you have never been before then you should definitely go and check it out, it’s deceiving from the outside as inside its really big. I like going here for lunch in between shopping as the meals are really good value and the drinks are really cheap too. If anyone wants to know where to go in Manchester for a night out I’d recommend going here first.

I am not really sure how this place stays open as it is a right disgrace. This place has been open for some years probably over 10 years and at one point it used to be a really nice restaurant and take away place. However as the years went on the building didn’t change and so as it needed redecorating it was never done and this was both inside and out. I haven’t been for about 5 years because of this and it is a shame because it used to be great to come out of the pub and go straight into the restaurant. Wouldn’t recommend it now as it looks disgusting.

If you are a big fan of markets then this is well worth going to have a look at whilst your shopping in Manchester. It has recently had a facelift and is definitely better than the old market that was previously there. Anybody that remembers the old one but didn’t like it its well worth going again as it’s different. However I can’t see that it will do that well as I always find that markets just sell cheap rubbish, bags, clothes and shoes! I think with Primark being so cheap people will prefer there. It’s not the best market I have ever been to but at least it looks pleasant now.

If you are a bit of indie fan then I imagine you have been to 5th Av before, if not then where have you been?! This is definitely one of the places to go. The drinks are incredibly cheap and they always have some sort of offer on and that’s the same for the price to get in, you can always find some kind of discount so it’s a really cheap night. It is likely to be full of students in case some of you don’t like places like this and it will always be jam packed especially at the weekends or if they have something special going on, so be willing to queue. Overall a great night out and a cheap one at that.

I have ordered a take away from here and it actually wasn’t that bad it’s just that once you have your favourite you stick with it as you know it’s nice. However the take away was ordered and it was ready reasonably quick. I had the usual starters and they were nice and I had Chicken Rogan Josh for main which was really tasty. The prices were about what you would expect to pay for an Indian and the place looked ok when I collected the food. I would order from here again and would recommend it to people who live nearby.
