This is a great weatherspoons and I am a regular for lunch here. It has two entrances a back and front door so you don’t have to walk all the way round which is good. It’s a cosy little pub with little rooms you can eat in. It’s always busy at lunch so make sure you have enough time to eat as there is usually a queue at the bar! But you’ll always find a table. The food has always been really good pub grub at cheap prices and the drinks are reasonable too! The menu is quite big which is good and look out for the offers it’s always good to save a bit of money! Definitely worth trying.

This is a great little Chinese restaurant. It is situated on Charlotte Street so it’s on the outskirts of china town but is definitely worth a try. I went with a few work colleagues and we had a platter which was good value, I can’t remember how much it was but it was under £10 and included a starter and a relatively good sized main course. This restaurant had all the usual dishes on the menu and is quite small so it may be worth booking of an evening, as I went for lunch and it was quite dead which is worrying but it was really nice. Furthermore it was a nice little restaurant and the staff were all friendly too.

I only went to croma for a meal with a group of friends because it was recommended by another friend and we wanted to try somewhere new. I went with a party of 8 including myself and I wasn’t disappointed with our choice. We were able to get a table relatively quick although it was a weeknight, but the menu had quite a lot of choice on it too. Once we had ordered our food arrived quite quickly and it was really nice, the price was also quite reasonable and I will definitely be going back there again as the whole vibe of the place and the decoration was very nice.

This is an all you can eat for a reasonable price which has a good selection of food to chose from. You have to go downstairs to get to the restaurant but when you get in there are a few tables and i’ve never had to wait for a table, although i have only been at lunchtimes. The staff were very friendly and the food was really nice, i think that this is the best all you can eat i have been to. Plus it also has a whippy ice cream dispenser so save room for pudding as its really nice and you can have as much of it as you want!

This is one of those places that you love or hate. Personally i like it in here but i think that in order to have a good meal without waiting about a hour for a table and queuing up the stairs you have to get there early, plus the earlier that you eat the cheaper it is. I would recommend that you go for a late lunch, eat as much as you want and have a snack later. Whenever i’ve been the food has always been nice but the drawback is the seating it reminds me of a school canteen as its plastic seating and looks more like a cafe than a restaurant.

This is such a handy tesco! For anybody who doesn’t know an express is a smaller version of a normal tesco’s but it just has less products in it and reduces the range of each item to only giving you a little choice of everything. As this is situated on market street its right near where i work so i pop in here most days to grab some lunch and occasionally a magazine. Although it looks small it also has a downstairs but be prepared its always busy no matter what time you go in...... its even open to midnight most nights of the week.

This has just been re built and is looking really nice. It’s a little bigger than the old store that was here but it still sells all the things that it used to. This is another store that sells a lot of foreign brands and is why they are able to offer them at a cheaper price. I shop here regularly and just love the jar of sweet and sour, i don’t think that you can find a better one anywhere i also love there beans... these are the best beans i have ever tasted so next time you visit aldi try the beans!

With the prices at other supermarkets rising by 10% at the minute its well worth giving lidl a try. It has lots of foreign brands that are cheaper than our well known versions except they taste just as good but the prices are a lot cheaper. I find that especially the fruit and veg are very reasonable and often are as little as 49p! So i tend to buy it all here, it always lasts just as long if not longer than your usual supermarkets so is well worth buying. It also has a couple of brands such as Nescafe and walkers which you can pick up cheaper if you like your brands!!

I’m not a lover of coffee shops like Cafe Nero and starbucks as i just think that they are too expensive for a coffee. I know that they have lots of choice and its always very nice when i have had one but once you have had a coffee you have to have a piece of cake or cookie to go with it and before you know it you’ve spent over £5. At somewhere else you could have got a full meal for that (at lunch time obviously). They always have nice seating areas to enjoy your coffee but i always find that no matter which cafe nero your in they always have a lack of toilets, which is a bit disappointing!

This Indian is in Audenshaw and is situated near Lockwood and greenwood, and is what used to be the Causeway. Its quite a big place and the interior is very nicely decorated, it also has a little disco area where there is music played at the weekend so once you have had your curry you can have a bit of a dance. The menu has a reasonable choice and the curry is nice but i think that its better down the curry mile! Just because you don’t get as much in a portion for the same price! There is also a massive car park to the front of the building so parking is not a worry.
