Hmm Addies....this is definitely the best thai restaurant in the area.

The food is good quality and good value.
Service is very quick and I imagine they turnaround a lot of tables of an evening.

They also do a take way service if you don't fancy leaving the house and their menu is on-line.(http://www.addiesthai.co.uk/)

There is a bar in the basement which I have not been to but you have to go through to get to the toliets and I think last time I went though it there was karaoke. :-)

I love going here for a drink or something to eat.
The staff are friendly and the food is great.

Half of it in bar and the other half a restaurant which serves lovely food. I've been in to eat about 3 or 4 times and I've always come out very happy. If you want to eat in the restaurant i would advise booking a table on the weekends.

The abingdon isn't a big place which actually adds to ambiance. It also has a few tables out on the street.
I have popped in during the day with friends and a baby and they didn't seem to mind.

The evening gets a little more lively but never rowdy. All in all a great local place.

Fun at the museum
Agree with the last post. This is great place to go with kids.

It keeps them so entertained and it doesn't cost you anything. My little two year old loves running round pointing at all the animals.

As it is so big you can come back and see other parts ad not get bored.

If you can help it try not to go during the holidays as it gets very busy; and I would suggest combining it with popping into the science museum just behind it; for those who like lots of interactive items.
