Prêt manger provides good quality sandwiches with a variety of fillings and breads. The menu includes sandwiches, filled baguettes, soup, salad, and coffee. Prêt also prepares desserts, such as American muffins, cakes, and croissants. It provides a very welcome alternative to McDonalds along with chains such as subway. Prêt is a London based company and this store is one of the earliest set up in 1988 2 years after the first. Generally food is tastier than subway and more quality as far as I am aware they try to use organic and non genetically modified crops in their sandwiches, soups, salads, muffins and baguettes.

Brilliant again
The Natural history museum is so memorable everyone remembers the huge dinosaur at entrance to the museum, dippy in the central hall. The museum is situated opposite the science museum on exhibition road and near south Kensington station. The museum is home to a huge giant squid and several animatronics dinosaurs (that kids will love). In the winter it is possible to ice skate outside the museum and there is also a Christmas market during the festive season. The architure of the building is grand and neo-gothical and very imposing and Victorian. The earth galleries in an extension to the original building are also well worth a visit.

Great fun
Kids and adults will love the Science museum. The Science Museum now holds a collection of over 300,000 items including Stephenson’s rocket and Babbage’s computer and so much more. If in south Kensington for day well worth a visit along with the Victoria and Albert museum and natural history museum al within walking distance of one another. All the museums are free but I always give a contribution of about 15 pounds for the family. A recent addition is the IMAX 3D Cinema showing science and nature documentaries, some of them in 3-D, and the Wellcome Wing which focuses on digital technology. A must for all Londoners.

Stunning
The IMAX is simply huge the biggest screen in London. The IMAX shows films in 3d as well as standard films but either way it is the ultimate in the cinema experience. The IMAX is currently showing the Dark Knight which is well worth a look at. The IMAX in London is run by the BFI (British Film Institute ) a charitable organisation that celebrates film. The IMAX achieves great quality by have film over twice the size of standard film and extremely powerful speakers. Tickets are more expensive than normal but well worth the extra cost from the added experience.

Quick Cheap food
This branch of the American food franchise is located opposite the IKEA the decor is plush and modern as it has just been refitted. Pricing is very good and meal will cost around £3 or £4 but for the same price if you’d stayed in IKEA you would have been able to have meatballs and pasta or several hot dogs but it is less of a hassle in McDonalds due to the drive through making it very easy to order an collect food if you are pushed for time and in the car. Basically food you know at decent price. But don’t blame me for the heart attack.

I think that the station terminal is as well provided for as any of the major UK airports. There is a great variety of things to eat whilst waiting for your train which now thankfully seem to be on time. I visited the yo sushi recently and thought it was great. If you wanted to take some lunch with you ( as prices on the train tend to be high) you could always visit the m&s simply food. For reading material you could visit 1 of the 2 w h Smiths stores for a magazine or 2 to pass the time. The display times are at either side of the station.

Killing the Camden vibe?
Although many will see starbucks as evil American cooperation on par with McDonalds and KFC and will feel its presence on haloed ground sacrilege I personally think it adds something. Starbucks is great in the respect that wherever I am in the world I can have a vente Latte Frapccino and know what I am receiving. The Starbucks is well placed in a lovely building right beside the lock with the lots of outdoor seating. This store provides free electricity wireless internet to costumers as well as a place to chill and relax. Some see Starbucks as part of some kind of gentrification well who cares Camden has always been middle class Joe Strummer went to public school.

Perfect
Hyde Park is London's equivalent to New York City's Central Park. A large open space in the middle of London's urban sprawl. Hyde Park played host to the o2 wireless festival this year which was headlined by Morrissey and Jay-Z. In past years Hyde Park hosted live8 and other big events. In winter the park is also great as one is able to ice skate on the serpentine. The park is also home to speakers Conner a great reminder of British freedom of speech but it is not free from deranged ranters convinced that Gordan Brown is in fact some kind of robot.

Celebrity Cult?
As realistic the wax work are there is something quite strange about paying £20 just to have your picture taken next a piece of moulded wax that resembles Chantelle from big brother. There is no doubt the skill the craftsmen who mould and create the sculptures. I have been to Madame Tussaud's several times but each time I find it genuinely bemusing but find myself in the same situation a couple of years later. Every time I visit I end taking photographs for people who've asked me to make sure I get both William and Harry in to the photo. The horror section is the only part that I find vaguely entertaining.

The London eye is an essential part of the London skyline along with the BT tower and the Gherkin and Big Ben and countless other sights, and has been since it was erected to commemorate the millennium. I have only been on the London eye once but I thoroughly enjoyed it. The eye is located near embankment and really is very hard to miss. The observation wheel enables one to see vast swathes the London metropolis. It is worth noting that with a tusaudes season pass one is able to visit the eye an unlimited number of times without having to pay anything extra.All in all well worth a at least one visit
