This one we came for our treat to my little girls Birth day and we were not disappointed. The food is standard for a very convenient dinner out. The usual fish and chips, fast food vita a bit of vegetable. The service was ok the personal was very busy and willing to attend to your needs. the surrounding was very pleasant and the children could just wander around before their dinner was served. The bill was not very bight therefore we quite liked this restaurant. We would like to return if we are not doing anything else, but not the first choice baby all means.

This pub was my second home until recently. I used to come here with my children as the soft play area is very convenient whiles thou wait for your food. We had the kids party there too and the service we got was very good. The can play all the time whilst you eat and even when you finished, therefore great value for money. The usual pub meals such as Fish and chips are my favorite. Children meals , chicken nuggets, fish fingers, chips. Nice and clean family orientated, with high chairs. Toilets are right to the pay area so not too far to walk. With babies facilities for changing.

This is a lovely set restaurant on the river. We cycle to have our lunch . WE sat by the window looking on to the lock and the water gashing down. On a sunny day you can sit in the conservatory area and look out. The restaurant pub is very popular as it’s such a nice surrounding. Our children played around the water ( be careful with small kids) before we got served. Service was very good and quick considering it was Sunday and lots of people in. Food very good standard and afters were very tasty too. Very good value for money. Nice tacked away place suitable for any accusation.

WE came to this restaurant with our friend as a party.
Such a small place, but it felt really posh to me anyway.
We had starts, mains puds the lot. I found this place very relaxing the waitresses dressed in their geisha costumes. Excellent service with a smile food a very good quality and price wise very reasonable. We had a bit of everything the type of sharing food which is nice if you are with friends or even as a couple. Parking is not too bad behind the restaurant, but better to come early as on the main road you won’t find any place in the evening. We used the Times offer £10 set menu voucher they do it now and then the value is even better.

Very conveniently placed restaurant if you are out shopping.
I took my two girls here a few times and they are always happy with the choice of food. My kids love Italian. What’s even nicer that you can see your food being cooked , well the pizza to be put in the open oven the girls love checking on the food progress.
The restaurant has a very small downstairs area and a bit bigger upstairs so it definitely pay to book, but we just walked in in half terms and managed to get a table no problem. I saw lot of office people to have a lunch there while socializing. They do offer during the week lunch time £3.75 so it is nice lunch out without spending a fortune. Pizza and pasta dishes always have been very satisfied and if you don’t finish you can take your food home with you.

We come to this restaurant with a few of our friends and it was a nice and quietish place. It has an upstairs seating, not a very big restaurant, but they seem to fit a few tables in.We liked the choice of the vegetable the most a bit European. The menu is very varied, lots of vegetable, fish and of course traditional English meals - stake too.
I had some sea fish I never heard of, but was pleasantly surprised how tenderly cooked it was with boiled potatoes and seasonal vegetable it was a fab meal to have. The choice of wine is very good too and reasonably priced. Puddings we a must have for everyone.

My little girl had a party here yesterday! This is a very busy venue over the weekend as their prices are very enforceable for the whole family.
The kids had a ball. My little boy like the pictures on the screen if he scores . The staff is very friendly and willing to accommodate you. Although yesterday they forgot about our food so I had to go and remind them. This was the summer deal two games plus food for £4 which is fine for couple of hours of entertainment. The food consists of the usual burger, chips, chicken nuggets and pasta and a drink like most places.
I must admit the food is (awful)arrived late cold and burgers burnt, I didn’t moan as didn’t want my kids to be upset. I expect it was one off . Toilets are clean!! Lots of fruit machines, pool table etc... to keep you entertain .

My children favorite restaurant, they love pizza and pasta. We came here to celebrate my Birthday on the day it was very busy. This is a bit small restaurant but lively. I had the chicken with bacon sauce, but could not see nay bacon, so the waiter willingly brought some extra bacon for me on a separate plate, without any problem. We had the fresh juices and smoothies which we delicious! There was quite few teenagers , girl in little groups having their lunch. I expect it's easy to drop them off for lunch and then go to the vue cinema , which is right next to it. The food is not spectacular, but the usual convenience of it and experience of going out for my children was really nice. Not very expensive for dinning.

I would not give a star to this pub at all. We went there only because my cooker wasn't working at the time. This must be the worst place that I have ever been. The service was absolutely apoling. Extremely
Slow, the waitress brought the wrong meals to us. When we eventually got what we ordered it was cold and soo overcooked “thought as an old boot". I ordered fish but it clearly was not a cod it was something very cheap and nasty. We waited for nearly an hour for the main meal (I am not kidding). My hubby was fuming by then. We ordered the puddings for the kids but after another 30 minutes I went and wanted to pay without having the puds. The cashier was so rude I could not believe it. This was one experience to be avoided. A part from bad service the noise from the unruly kids in the pub and play area was just too much to enjoy anything. Poor value and avoid if you can.

Now fully opened again after the fire two years ago. Inside there is very calm surrounding open plan seating. WE had a very good reports about this pub and it did really live up to our expectations. Roast dinner which is served every day of the week Monday-Friday is only about £3.99 not he weekend about £2 more. This is fabulous value for your money. We had roast mixture of turkey, beef and pork and I tell you it was very nice too. Lots of different sauces. pint of larger and a nice pudding and we still have money left to spend for the cinema. If you don’t fancy cooking during the week go and see for yourself you will not be disappointed. Good choice on the menu. There are a lot of older people during the lunch time hours.
