Give this place a miss!
Everytime I've been to Bureau the night has always been ruined by someone. Unfortunately this place seems to attract people looking for a fight or to cause trouble and the bouncers don't help by acting over the top when trouble does arise and are really unfriendly. Stratford Upon Avon is a really nice, safe place to go out, so I don't know why this place is so rough. Apart from the crowd that goes here, the floor seems to be permanently sticky with spilt drinks. My advice...there are plenty of other really nice places to go out in Stratford so give this place a miss.

Good night out in Amber
During the day Amber is more of a cafe, serving teas, coffees, etc. In the evening they put on music and also show DVDs on the big TV screens they have on the wall. While we were there they had on Ricky Gervais Live and also Lee Evans. In between they had music playing.

The place looks modern with a glass front. You can also sit outside the front. Amber has a good sized dance floor for a medium sized bar.

The drink prices were reasonable and the bar staff were chatty. The people hanging out there seemed like a mix of students and young professionals.

Peri-Peri nice!
The Nando's Cribbs Causeway restaurant is fairly small compared to other Nando's I've been too, and is always busy day and evening. We usually have to queue on the stairs outside the restaurant for about 10 minutes until there is a free table, but once you have got a table, they are usually pretty quick to serve your food. They also do take-away here if you don't want a table. The staff are busy but polite and the food is good. We have found on occasions that the tables are a bit sticky though! The overall look of the restaurant is modern and looks good.

Wouldn't recommend at all
We went here after working up an appetite after a long day shopping at The Mall, Cribbs Causeway. We decided to do for the all you can eat lunchtime Chinese buffet for around £7 each. We were both really disappointed with the quality of the food. We've had better Chinese food from our local takeaway! The food was lukewarm and didn't taste very nice and seemed really greasy. There wasn't much selection either (I understand it was lunchtime so there is less selection than in the evening.) So although it was all you could eat, we didn't eat that much. Unless they've improved since we went here, I wouldn't recommend coming here for authentic Chinese cusine.

This place is great for a romantic meal out for two, and equally good for a group of friends to eat out here. The tables are nicely spaced apart, so you don't feel crammed in like in some restaurants. In the evening the lighting is quiet dark, with candles on each table to provide the majority of the lighting which looks really pretty.

We hadn't been here before so weren't sure what to go for, so chose the selection of Tapas which was about £22 for two people. The food was nice, I wouldn't describe it as anything more than nice though. The staff member who showed us to our table and took our order was very helpful and friendly, and explained what different dishes were.

Great food, great staff!
The Coach and Horses in Ganborough (a small place a few miles from Stow on the Wold) is a lovely pub to go for an evening meal with your partner. It is an old building and the decor keeps well with this. The wooden tables are often candlelit in the evening. It also has ample parking. The staff at the bar and serving food are always friendly. The best thing about this place is the food. Every time I have eaten here I haven't been disappointed. The gammon steak from this place is the best piece of gammon I have ever had. Portions are a good size, not too big, not too small, although the pudding portions are a bit small sometimes.

Got to love Caddies!
Playing mainly cheese and serving fairly cheap drinks, Caddies is always good for a fun night out. The club isn't massive but it has a good sized dance floor. The only downside is that it can be pretty empty on some week nights, but that's the same as most clubs. Usually very busy on Student night (which I think is a Monday) and weekends. The decor of the club looks quite retro, with large Pop Art pictures on the wall and bright red booth like seating areas. The atmosphere feels friendly and relaxed. Overall a great place to spend a night.

The Slug and Lettuce in Bournemouth serves a good selection of food and is very reasonably priced, around £8/£9 for a meal. You can sometimes get student discount at the Slug and Lettuce which is a bonus. The food came pretty quickly and was really nice and the staff who served us were genuine and friendly. There is a lot of seating which is good, including big leather sofas in some areas which are very comfortable and great to relax in. The atmosphere of the place seemed very relaxed. There is a good selection of drinks, including cocktails at a reasonable price.

Cosmo Swindon is a large chinese all you can eat restaurant, with an even larger selection of food. There are dishes from China, Japan, Thailand, Malaysia, Korea, Singapore, Mongolia, India and Vietnam so definately something for everyone. Very reasonable price of around £12 per head for all you can eat. Everything I tried tasted lovely and really fresh. There are loads of starters, mains and desserts, including a chocolate fountain! Drinks are fairly expensive though. The staff are friendly and attentive, and will take empty plates and glasses away straight away. Good location in Swindon, easy walking distance to other bars and clubs.

Can I have a knife and fork please?
I agree with the previous review saying this isn't the place for a romantic meal with your other half. My partner and I went here and got seated on a 4 seater table with another couple...bit awkward for both parties. The staff seem very busy, I had to ask a member of staff twice for a knife and fork (sorry but I can't use chopsticks to save my life!) and even then she didn't bring me one so I had to ask another staff member who eventually brought me one. The food was nice though so I would go there again, just not for a romantic meal for two!
