A Great New Concept in Pizza
As they say on their menus 'Fire & Stone takes pizza to a brand new level'....and by god they do!! This new restaurant in Covent Garden is not only fantastic to look at (dramatic interior with over 250 covers), but the pizzas are simply out of this world.....or from all round the world as the case is. You can try pizza's from Thailand, Morroco, Peking....even London. And the toppings can be quite outrageous.....crispy duck with hoi sin sauce, garlic & rosemary roast potatoes, Thai green chicken curry, crispy bacon braised cabbage to name a few ingredients. There are a fair few safe(ish) options, but none of the usual suspects are really there. The pizzas are all fab though, & the restaurant is always ram-packed. Prices are no more than any other pizza joint...in fact they may even be slightly cheaper!! This is an amazing restaurant & it wouldn't suprise me to see more of these opening soon. CHECK IT OUT!!!
