Excellent Lebanese
I've been here a few times now and I'm already keen to go back.

The decor is very modern, lots of wood and feels very classy. It always seems busy but I've never had a problem getting a table but it might be an idea to book if you're not local. I had a selection of meze type dishes like baba ganoush, lebanese salad (very spicy but yum), little spicy sasuages and some plates of chicken and lamb shish all of which have been excellent. They have some lovely fresh juices on offer (the strawberry is great) and you are presented with baklava on the house when you leave.

Prices are very reasonable, considering the classy decor of the place I always feel like I've had a bargain!

Market full of taste sensation!
I love this place, I'd never really been until I started seeing my current girlfriend who lives only a few minutes away (lucky me).

There are loads of stalls filled with friendly vendors who are quite happy to let you sample everything. Its quite nice to get there early on Saturday morning (it does get quite busy), stroll about and nibbling on all the lovely food on offer before deciding on your main course.

It is however quite expensive, but I think its well worth it as much of the food is probably not found many other places. Where else in London can you get a nice plate of raclette to munch on while you walk about? Or a nice grilled chorizo sandwich? Or some fantastic bread (though be warned, once used to the bread it will make any loaf from a supermarket taste of nothing).

I'm usually there once a week and I still love it, and its a great place to take family and friends. Only open Thursday, Friday and Saturday with the most stalls available on Sat.

Passable Tex-Mex
There isn't much choice as far as Tex-Mex goes in London. This is one of the better options but that's not really saying much.

The food is passable, roughly equivalent to the mexican dishes at places like Chilis, TGIF or Hard Rock Cafe but with a much larger Tex-Mex menu. There is quite an extensive margherita menu and the couple that I had were tasty. Food is a little on the expensive side, but the portions are very large and prices are equivalent to other American chain restaurants.

Its not amazing, but it does just about satisfy a craving when I fancy some burritos!

Great simple Japanese cafe
I've been coming to this little restaurant for about 10 years now and very little has changed in that time. The decor is a little shabby, its quite cramped in places but despite this its my favorite Japanese restaurant in London.

Food is cheap, service is quick and its always very tasty and authentic. My favorite is the Katsu-don, but the sushi, curries, gyoza and noodle-dishes are all great quality. I've never had to wait for a table either! I love this place!

Bad bistro
A supposed classy french bistro type of restaurant. Warning bells went off when there were about 20 starters on the menu.

My french onion soup was bland and nearly tasteless, looked pretty much like they had just boiled a few onion slices in some vegetable stock. Instead of a nice gruyere encrusted grilled crouton as you would expect from french onion soup I got a little ramekin of cheddar cheese, and some melba toast like baguette slices. My mom only managed a bite out of her starter, some sort of seafood medley which just tasted like wet old seafood bits on some sodden lettuce. To be fair the manager spotted she hadn't eaten it and didn't charge for it.

Main courses came and while my steak was fairly tasty it was pretty cold when it arrived. The bearnaise sauce was obviously out of a jar and the veg was nuked. Not what you expect for £20.

We didn't bother with dessert, all in all really not worth the considerable amount they charged. Avoid.
