Parking here's a bit pricey!
I’ve come here quite a few times now and have enjoyed myself. Basically this site has replaced the stupid millennium dome.

Bad Points:

The cost of the car parks is absolute daylight (or night) robbery. There are two car parks, one being about £20, the other £5. either way I feel they’re both expensive. You’ve then got a bit of a walk til you get inside the o2. when i was there recently, I noticed they know have metal detectors which they didn’t have before so assume there’s been some trouble there recently.

Good points:
Basically the large selection of shops. Here you can either eat, have a chilled out evening in a bar or go clubbing. There’s a gallery nearby and of course you have the concert area.

Overall I’d say you would definitely find something to suit your tastes here, but could be improved with free parking!

Great for clothes
I really lke this tesco. You get the usual food stuffs and bargains but i actually go there for the clothes. On the first floor, there's a large selection of bags, clothes & footwear. the clothes are really nice and fashionable and reasonably priced.

ok, back to the food, if you go late enough, there's usually a fair amount of food that is reduced priced - i got a cheese and tomato roll for 23p! there are loads of tills open and staff are generally helpful.

there's also a petrol station on site and i think you can collect clubcard points there too, so all in all you can't go wrong!

Busy station
As I'm sure everyone knows, this is a very busy station. Doesn't really matter what time of day you get there, it's still busy. I do like all thehsops about which include, Boots, Burger King, sandwich shops, clothes shops etc. At least they give you something to do whiles your waiting for your train.

It is a slight pain that sometimes the platform numbers for the train you want don't actually show til quite late - sometimes as late as 2 or3 mins before it departs! places to sit (that aren't in shops) would be useful.

Anyway, its good as stations go but could be improved.

i stayed here in June 08 and really liked it. there are 7 floors in total if i recall rightly & two glass lifts take you up to your level. when the lift reaches the ground floor, it actually sits in water - not literally but it's surrounded by it ( a small lake). the breakfast that was included with our package was great, inclduign a range of hot & cold foods.

i was disappointed with the roof-top pool which didn't have a great view. the on site cafe was nice and reasonably priced. there was an on site beauty therapy section which was offering a (greatly) reduced price Indian head massage offer.

the staff was really polite and helpful and went out of their way to make you comfortable.

in terms fo the beach, the hotel offered a few shuttle bus to a nearby beach which was quite nice.; there was also a free bus to the local shopping centre.

All in all, a good hotel and would recommend.

his station is...well...ok. Nothing more. the ticket office is open until 2pm (open at 7am) and the staff are really really friendly. they'll actually take the time to find you the cheapest way to get to your destination and they SMILE!

unfortunately the station walkway smells of wee sometimes which is off-putting.

there is car parking available so its great to park your car there, and then get on the train to an underground station.

All in all, I would say although this is basic, it does what you need it to.

A good centre considering its in tottenham (sorry!). You've got two large pools with a range of classes - beginners, family classes, fun 'n' waves. There's a sauna, the Marcus garvey Library, a cafe & full size gym.

centre staff are friendly and helpful. the car park is quite big, but make sure you have a valid ticket else you WILL get clamped!

Nothing remarkable
This pizza hut is ok, nothing special really. Staff are friendly enough, the restaurant could be cleaner and the decor needs an update as it's a bit dreary. Here you can expect the the usual menu, pizza, pasta, ice cream etc. the chefs are happy to do you a 'half and half' pizza if you want.

All in all, I would say an average pizza hut restaurant.

I do like this market - you get a bot of everything and the traders are happy for you to have a bit of a banter with them. the stalls here range from clothes, underwear, tights, fruit & veg, music, electrical appliances, the list goes on. You can get your hair done, buy music. It would be nice if there was somewhere you coud eat - they do have little food places around but i wouldn't say they were that appealing.

having said that, there is a KFC & McD's nearby.

don't forget to go into the indoor shopping centre too. grab yourself a bargain!

An extensive range
body music has a wide range of records and cds, generally in the genre of rnb, soul & blues. the shop had been around for years, in the same spot on tottenham high rd. the staff are quite knowledgable and are happy to point you in the right direction for your needs.

Great shop!

A horrid campus
This campus has taken on most if not all the courses that were previously taught at the Enfield campus. this means that this tiny campus is now heavily populated with students and i feel that site cannot cope with this increase. There are no parking spaces - well you can park in nearby side roads after 2pm but what good is that when most lectures are at 9.30am?!

There's a small cafe on site (prices extortionate), a library, and that's about it. there are food shops around for your lunch and you've got the whittington hospital nearby for those cases of food poisonig!

Anyway, courses here are medical sciences and social work - the teaching quality for the social work is good but the sciences is variable.

i would say avoid is possible.
