Stout
A cool restaurant in a friendly shopping street in Amsterdam. The food is good, though not cheap. I had the Stout Platter which consist of 5 small starters and 5 small main courses. It doesn't look like much but by the end you're certainly full. A great idea if you have trouble choosing what to eat in a restaurant. You can sit outside and watch the people go by, or order small portions of food & wine and lie on the mattresses outside. Staff is friendly and the places looks great.

This places was amazing. I was actually laughing out loud for most of the time. These people really know how to set up a good comedy night night with great presentation and the best acts! I gets 5 stars, because it's smallness makes it a very intimate experience.

One of my favourite bars in London, based in the Truman Brewery complex. Always good music, very busy but also very relaxed type of people that come here. Great to start the night and head off to the clubs in the vicinity

I didn't see any performances or Flamenco, but the tapas were very, very good, and so was the Sangria. Worth a visit if you're in Camden! Just a tiny walk from the tubestop.

The Best Curry in London!
Among the many indian restaurants on and around Brick Lane, there is only one that doesn't try to lure you in with "free wine" and "20% off for you, sir". That place is called Meraz. Not only do they not bother you, they also serve the very best curry I have ever eaten, and they do that for harldy any cost at all. For 12 pounds you can easily feed 3 grown men. They don't serve alcohol but don't mind you taking your own from the off-licence around the corner! That just makes it extra cool.
The place it self doesn't look great, but try it, it's worth it!!

Great place with great food in a great location! The pancakes surely are good (as recommended by Belinda)! It's also a fashionable clothes store. Definitely worth a visit for a break during a busy Portobello Market day.

Belgisch Bier Cafe 'Het Gerecht'
If you ever visit Leiden be sure to have a chat with legendary pub owner 'Martin'. He serves lots of Belgian beer to students and is very proud of his bar. He has many stories about just about anything. Sometimes it is not cear wether it is actually true, but dont let the truth stand in the way of a good story!

The reason I joined this site was to hype this place. Whenever I'm in London I HAVE to go here to eat bagels. Salmon is a winner, so is the cream cheese and of course the salt beef with extra mustard (get a drink with it, or else you might explode). Also great after a nights drinking!
