I really enjoyed it here. The theatre is really interesting, I wasn't expecting it to be so big! It's a circular lay out around the main stage, so you can see the stage from whereever you are sat. There are loads of special offers which as a student I found really useful. Under 25's can see shows on Mondays for £4 but book early! You can also get half price tickets as a student if you book it on the day and there are still tickets left. I didn’t go but there seemed some nice cafes and a nice shop as well.

A decent Wetherspoons. During the day you just get old men as per Spoons, but at night you get all sorts. Staff seem friendly enough and being a spoons is cheap. Has a massive patio outside which is nice in summer but hard to get a seat. Also can get quite a few chavs and fights. Indoors is one big circle around the bar and quite big. Is about 10 minute walk from woodside park or east finchley stations. But it's a wetherspoons so besides cheapness it's not going to be brilliant, is pretty ordinary. To be honest there's better pubs in the area but good enough for youngsters wanting a cheap night.

This is and always has been rubbish. Hang out for local grunge kids who think they're cool cos it's the only place they can get into underage. Pretty expensive, likely to get stabbed when going back out into wood green after. Has a dance floor which used to be jam packed, but since the smoking fan like most places is now empty most of the time. It's probably nicer now than it was for a quiet drink in day time/early evening, but way too loud for this at night. It is however close to Wood Green station so easy to find and accessible. An okay place to start a night out before heading into town.

Firstly, the area is horrible so watch out and be careful if coming home late afterwards.

The venue though is pretty cool, it's nicely decorated inside and has a pretty nice feel to it. Went there on a club night so the whole venue was pretty packed throughout, the building can get a bit confusing so you might lose your friends a while if you're anything like me! Cloakroom if I remember right was normal price. Drinks are expensive but what do you expect from a carling venue?

I'd love to go back again....if only to see the Pogues at Christmas!

A phenomenal venue. I went a few weeks ago, in the seats but didn't actually find them the comfiest so if I was to go again I'd definitely go in the £5 seats, though personally I wouldn't like it if it rained! A great atmosphere inside really helped by the round shaped building keeping the sound in. Staff were really helpful and friendly. You can go on a tour or just visit the shop if you don't fancy a performance. Had a drink in the bar before which was nice, especially outside if you are lucky enough to get a seat on one of the few tables.

This is the only cinema I go to in Manchester, simply because it's so much cheaper than anywhere else, which as a student can only be a good thing! 2 for 1 as a student with orange on Wednesdays makes it dirt cheap! They show recent films and have lots of screens so there's always plenty to choose from. The seats are incredibly comfy too, much comfier than most cinemas I've ever been to. Food is normal cinema prices. It’s easy to find from Oxford Road as well. So plenty of time for a bite to eat in Manchester before if you like.

Always a great laugh! I've only ever been on the free Sunday night which is on the first and last Sunday of every month. Simply turn up on the night and you get to watch some good comedians for free, trying out their new stuff. It can be a bit hit and miss, but there's always a couple of acts so normally at least half of them are good I've found. Never been on another night, looks too expensive for a poor student like me, especially considering you can go for free but I'm sure it's a good time and better if you can afford it!

This place is absolutely massive, so I always find it is best to pick a particular section in time/theme you're interested in and focus there. The Egyptians would be a good bet if you've got children with you especially! The museum is free to enter, they have permanent exhibitions and temporary ones. The architecture of the building is also amazing from the outside and inside! It has different wings and galleries, a real masterpiece! It’s a great place to kill a few hours, however many times you’ve been. It’s even open late on Thursdays and Fridays. I thoroughly recommend it

Oh we do like to be by the seaside! Great spot. Free to enter and has all sorts. Arcades, restaurants, rides, bars, anything you'd expect. Brightons a great place with a lot to offer for all sorts. Warning though: the fish and chips I had at the restaurant just as you enter the pier wern't the best; £4.50 for cod and chips, but the chips were cold. Fish was nice though. If you go, you've got to sample some but I'd say stay away from this one on the pier!A great day out though and quite a nice rocky beach!

This café has a great amount of sandwich choice and is a great place to have a natter with friends although the manager can make you feel pretty rushed at busy times in my experience. There is all sorts of sandwiches, all sorts of bread and fillings. Also stuff like jacket potatoes and puff pastry sandwiches. Not forgetting the selection of cakes and sweet bites to eat! The sandwiches are all freshly made so you can pick and choose what you want if you like. Like I say though it can get rushed, and is also quite crammed as he tries to fit as many people in as possible, but who can blame him when he knows what great products he’s selling?!
