Lifesaver cafe
Ah, this place is soooo nice. Friendly staff (who even suggested I come back later to pay when I didn't have the correct change), healthy and not-so-healthy-but-ever-so-nice food, and you have all the ingredients for a perfect hangover cure. Their bacon and egg sandwich is a revelation, and a perfect example of their art.

Now if they only started making Bloody Mary's then we'd have a little slice of heaven, just off Brick Lane...

Quite hard to find, and it's a bit of a trek to get there but once you're there it's fab...

Heart-rousingly good coffee
Recently moved in a couple of doors down, and I'm liking having this place as the closest cafe. Friendly, fun and vibey in the morning - and one of the nicest cappucinos around.
