Very friendly staff
I went to Stanmore on the bank holiday weekend last month after dinner in the search for some dessert. First, went to Jonathons - where we waited for 10 minutes to see if we could get a table and were rudely told by the manager that we could only get a table if we had a full meal. So we left and walked 50 yards to the Pizza Express - we were warmly greeted and served mint tea and chocolate fudge cakes and cheesecake!

The food at all Pizza Express restaurants is pretty consistent but the service at this one made all the difference!

Good food, okay service
I've been here for lunch quite a few times this year. Note - it does get quite busy so to avoid not getting a table, I'd advise to call and book!

Staff arent always very friendly but the food more than makes up for it. I've had the Funghi pizza each time I have been and it has never disspointed.

But you do feel a bit rushed - a few times they've made it a point to remind me that we have to eat within the hour!

The Best French Lebanese
This is a very nice restaurant in a very nice place! I've been here for dinner quite a few times with my girfriend (this is her favourite restaurant) - they have a brilliant selection for vegetarians. The sweet potato falafels that they serve - I have not been able to find these even on Edgware road!

And for the healthy ones amongst us, the superfood salad is also good! Its reasonably priced and service is good.

Great night out
I went to Wax bar a few weeks back - music was very good. Staff are friendly and the bartenders can dish up some good cocktails! It looks deceivingly small from the outside, but its fairly big once you get downstairs. Would go again.

I went there on 29th August - its okay.

Bread was good, my pasta was okay, and my side dish of spinach was also good. Atmosphere was also okay, cafe like. Service was good - i would go again.

Ps - their hot chocolate is nice!

The long queues outside a sign that the food inside is good! And indeed it doesnt dissapoint. Good value for a 2 course meal, mine came to under a tenner. Their pad thai jay is fantastic!

However, its a very rushed experience - they try and get you in and out within 30 mins (or it certainly felt that way)

Very good for a quick quality meal before the theatre!

Good for a Friday
Went to Zebranos for a leaving do from work expecting to go home after a couple of drinks... I ended up staying there till well past midnight. It was really good, great crowd and good cocktails! Food's okay, nothing special.

If someone asked me to eat at Wagamamas 4 times a week, I'd still not go off it!!

This branch is particularly busy at lunchtimes so get there before 12.15 or after 2 pm so as not be waiting in a cue. The service is very good, I was served with my food within 10 minutes of placing the order. As a vegetarian, my favorite dishes: edamame beans (chilli), veg katsu curry and the carrot juice - its yum.

Good value for money - you can have a good meal under a tenner!

One for a treat
Yes it is expensive. But for a special occassion, it is worth it!

Food is tasty and very well presented. This in my opinion is probably one of the best Thai restaurants that I have been to in London when you take into account the ambience as well. Lovely forestly feel with the pond and bridge and all the plants!

Dont forget the wallet though...
