It might not look like much from the outside or the inside for that matter. But this place is excellent it has a nice charm to it and if you enjoy your traditional yorkshire pubs go here. They also have a nice little beer garden for you to use in the summer. They have a wide variety of real ales on offer so if your an ale drinker again go here. They also hae a nice selection of wine so if your wine drinker again go here. The pub also has a lovely atmosphere if you want a nice chilled out drink yorkshire style.

Get wasted for less than a tenner!
Rehab in Leeds on a Tuesday gets this place 4 stars just on price. It's 80p in and 80p a drink what more can you ask for. It is mainly filled with students and you can get hammered for less than a tenner it is truly amazing. The music isn't that good a lot of cheesy 80's and cheesy pop but who cares when you have spent £8.50 and can't stand up. You might expect that because it is so cheap there is often trouble because scum are attracted to cheap places but this is a great and I have never seen any trouble if you are looking for trouble head to Walkabout the worst place in Leeds.

If your looking for a huge meal relatively cheap go to Wokmania during the day. They have an all you can eat buffet for around 7 pound. The food is good and is very filling like all chinese. But watch out don't overload yor plate on the first trip or you won't manage anymore. The drink prices are also cheap but obviously aren't included on the buffet. Another good thing about Wokmania is they won't charge if you waste loads of food like so many other all you can eat buffets do. Overall this is a good place to eat but never eat more than three plates you will be in danger of exploding. Would definatly recommend.

Ahhh... Starbucks the place to go if you fancy a break from your shopping or just a relaxing coffee. This Starbucks is simply a Starbucks there is nothing special about it although it does get quite busy because of it's location. However just because it is a bog standard Starbucks you should avoid if you want a coffee and your nearby go, but there is better ones in Leeds. With Starbucks I always find the prices are a bit high but that is the case with all coffee shops really but Starbucks coffee is the best. There always plenty of seats avaialble and there always comfy plus you can take your laptop in and browse the internet.

Nando's is a chain of chicken restaurants serving portugese peri peri style chicken. The chicken is usually good and the food is ok. If your a vegetarian you might struggle for something to eat as the vegetarian choices are quite limited. The protions for some of the dishes are also quite small. The staff are friendly enough though and they are there to help you. The prices are reasonable but not cheap probably toward the expensive side. They also have a nice selection of drinks including a jug of Sangria which is always nice. So if your looking for a decent meal and haven't tried it I would recomend it if your not a fan of chicken or a vegetarian I would stay away.

Some of the best nights I have had have been in the cockpit. They have loads of different nights on through the the week including a gay night if thats what your into and fancy something a bit different from Leeds normal gay scene. The music they play is predominatly rock and indie ecept Tuesdays which i tend to avoid which is metal music. They also have live music and the gigs are always great and they also have guest dj's playing a great selection of DJ's the rinks prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere is always high. I'd definatly recommend it to anyone.

Walkabout is a chain of Australian sports bars serving traditional australian drinks and food. Through the day it is more of a pub that shows live sport and at night it converts itslef into more of a night club.

Hwever, this is probably the worst place in Leeds I have been to the music is terrible and you sometimes here the same song up to 5 times in one night which gets boring it can be quite busy for about an hour but by the time 12 o clock arrives it is dead and there is no atmosphere whatsoever. The staff are rude and blatantly hate there jobs and the prices are way too high. Avoid this place like the plague!

Abu Bakar is located just next to the estate agents I rent my house from so it has proved useful to me many times. They have a wide selection of produce available and the service is always very quick and the staff are nice and friendly. The prices are all quite good as well. This isn't the kind of supermarket I would do my weekly shopping at but if i am passing by and need some bits and bats I will alawys pop in get a few thigs.

For me though the best thing about Abu Bakar Supermarket is the wide selection of Rubicon drinks the have it is the only place I have found that sells GuanaBanana the best flavour so try it.

Another nice pub in Leeds. The bar is alright basically a typical pub with friendly staff and your friendly locals. The drinks are averagly priced for a city centre pub and if your looking for a chilled out drink throughout the day this is a nice place to go although there is efinatly better in Leeds.

The best thing about this pub is the food which is fantastic. The prices aren't tooo bad but cheaper can be found. Although it is definatly worth paying a few quid extra for better food I agree. So if your stuck for somewhere to go at have never been here give a try you might be surprised.

Dry Dock
Dry Dock is another excellent pub or bar in Leeds city centre. It is an actual boat that has been converted into a bar inside. Downstairs you have your bar with a few pool tables and upstairs you have the deck of the ship where you can go for a smoke and there is always plenty of seats. The atmosphere in side is always good and the you can not argue with the drink prices particularly if your a student with a yellow card like me.

The music tends to be rock and indie with some other stuff thrown in for good measure. They also serve food through the day which is not the best food but it is eatable and the price isn't too bad either.
