The food is exquisite and authentically mexican. The menu is leatherbound and all the waiters speak only Spanish. The terrace is fantastic and the staff are only to happy to have a stumbling conversation in half broken English. But the restaurant's real strength lies in it's charm. The classic olde-worlde atmosphere will not fail to charm the sombrero of anyone who goes in. Loved it!

An acquired taste
Conveniently located just a few minutes away from
Tunbridge Wells, the swan at the vineyard is a must visit for any true food lover. The menu is extensive and varied and changes every few weeks. For the more adventurous there are some more exotic dead animals served up but i wont tell you what they are for fear of ruining your appetite. I never get tired of eating here.

Nothing special
Somewhere between being bombarded by awful music, being stared at by an evil waitress and your food actually being only semidigestible you realise that this restaurant falls short of high standards expected of it. The menu is limited and hard to read, the food prices are extortionistic, and above all you won't be getting much for your money anyway. My advice: Just go to the pizza express across the road!!!

quick bite
For a quick bite to eat of simple, traditional pub food i can think of few places better than the laughing fish in isfield. The staff are friendly, there's plenty of parking and it won't burn a hole in your pocket. The beere garden outside is very attractive and there's even a playgroung to keep hypothetical kids happy
