A truly unique experience. Went for lunch 2-3 years ago and still remember it as one of the most romantic and elegant meals I've ever had. Amazing place.

... if what you're looking for is somewhere smart, dark, with a very cool interior and perfect ambience that makes great cocktails.

If you're visiting the restaurant which quite good if a bit pricey make sure you book way in advance - especially for a Friday or Saturday night.

Top class Tom Yum
Very good mid-range Thai restaurant, with very nice atmosphere - particularly like the tables at the very back under the skylight. The tom yum soup is perfectly spicy and hot;) Service is good and prices right.

Top class brunch
Top class place. Great for Sat or Sun brunch. Attracts a nice and varied Notting Hill crowd.

All of the dishes are great but ones to try are the french toast with bacon which is delicious and the scrambled eggs with salmon.

Tends to get a bit packed so either get there early or be prepared to wait for up to 45 minutes for a table during peak time.

Ditto - but great brunch too!
One of the best brunches I've had in Notting Hill and I've tried quite a few. Especially nice on a warm summery day out on the patio. Great scrambled eggs and smoked salmon. Pretty good cup of coffee too.

Best panini in town?
Possibly.

Great after clubbing but really good for an espresso and snack on a sunny (or even rainy depending on your disposition) morning. At its best though when the weather is warm-ish, the time is about 3-4ish in the morning, you've been out drinking and you need that salty something to make things right. At bar italia you can have just that on the pavement outside (since the very few tables and bar stools are always taken) while other people are doing the same.

Open 24/7.

Italian staff.

Soho bar/club crowd, whatever that means.

Personal favourite: Chicken Escalope Panini w. cheese.

American/Mexican Style
Very cosy american-diner-style place. Great for original burgers, fries and tasty shakes. Also serves good english breakfast.

Easily accessible for the Notting Hill/Westbourne Grove people. Just down the road from 'The Westbourne'.

A short 328 or 28 ride north from the gate. Bus stop just 50 meters from L7.

It's been some time since I last went but unless my memory's playing tricks Lucky 7 was quite good value for your money too.
