Pizza Hut
Visited Bank Holiday 25 August 2008. Fairly small place compared to others and very quiet at time visited - 3pm. Ordered 1 potato wedges, 2 adult pizzas and 1 child's pizza, a beer, tap water, and kid's coke with ice, also Banoffe pie. Told by waitress that they didn't have any ice. She also came back to say that they also didn't have any thin bases for kid's pizzas.
Glad I didn't order from salad bar as choice was limited to lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber and croutons. No beetroot at all - my favourite. Potato wedges were small and came with plastic square "ketchup" pots which we had to open as they didn't have any sour cream dip available, kid's pizza had burnt pepperoni on it and base wasn't very well cooked on veggie pizza. We did laugh when banoffee pie came to be told that the frozen fruit accompanying it was frozen and management had instructed the waitress to tell us in case of complaint!
Bill was £29-ish. Have definitely had better at other Pizza Hut establishments and perhaps because it was a Bank Holiday they just didn't have a delivery.
On a positive note - it was very clean and the staff cleared the tables quickly. it was well staffed, and the toilets were clean although could do with a change of tile - brown not the best colour!!
Parking is very easy - lots of car parks about although they are pay-and-display.
Will try again in the hope that they were just having a bad day!
