This place has some nice healthy options and rice dishes alongside the standard takeaway stuff. The staff nice people which makes a change in Luton centre. Eat in/takeaway. Handy taxi firm next door.

Stress Free & Snug Brasserie Bar
This boutique hotel has two bars with a lovely fireplace and a very large outside terrace on warm evenings. Without any doubt the best bar food in Luton or the district, better than many restaurants. The hotel has its own more formal a la carte restaurant which has also won awards.

This is a lovely restored Victorian villa and a haven among the much more tacky bar and hotel fare on offer in this town.

You will not be dissapointed.

Britannia Cars Cabs In Luton
They have recently moved to a town centre office on Gordon Street. I've been using several cab firms in Luton for many years and have found Britannia to be very fair in prices, the other really good firm is Silverline.

Britannia seem to do very good prices for longer runs, down to London or Airports etc. I would usually call Britannia first, but they are very popular so youu might try Silverline second if its a really busy period.

They are on 01582 422222 and have a web site as well. The drivers seem to be quite nice people which matters to me.

Well above average for a Luton take away!
As well as doing the usual take away stuff (Chicken/Burgers etc etc) HB also have a really nice indian menu but with some dishes you can't get anywhere else.

Make sure you ask for a couple of menus the first time you order, the Chef's specials section has some restaurant standard dishes on it and there are also some unusual starters.

They have their own tandoor so its all very authentic. Chicken and burgers are the same most places in Luton, the Indian menu here raises it way above the crowd in terms of high quality food.
