Im a good old fan of the Hawley like alot of young ambitious people waiting for a big break and this is the kind of place that draws in that kinda crowd,although I miss the old Hawley Arms before it got alot of press coverage involving the likes of Amy Winehouse and trendy bans of the moment being spoted in there. only for the simple reason being you get under age fans and giggly girls hopeing to spot the likes of Noel Fielding or Russel Brand which of course only goes and cheapens the experiance.
As Im sure some of you are aware the pub is closed for the time being due to a fire in the area which caused alot of damage and the pub being part of what got affected which is why its closed but gladly enough to say it will reopen in 6 months time.
great food,music and the staff are swell!
Love that they serve chips in a pint glass,simple and brings a smile.Good beers on tap also.
Lovely terrace with heaters where peole hang out all year round and also a nice little garden on the ground floor..wether this will be the same on its return we can only but wonder.

Over all good feel to it and an enjoyable experiance..although if arriving later expect to que for a bit outside which is no good but always forgotten once your inside.

Asolutely brilliant cure for all hangovers.
Great breakfast menu and also for lunch and dinner, but you would have to try one of the breakfasts for sure.
Abviously don't be going to Pedro's for a candle light dinner with your loved one or with your boss for that matter,unless you find that construction site workers and old dears going by the name betty help you along for finding a little romance but if you dreaming of the best hangover cure or simply a bit of TLC comfort food then Pedro's is your place!
Also I love the idea of ordering an orange juice and then a litre glass bottle comes to your table like being back at primary school,same applies for milk.
The custom is very friendly and if you become a bit of a regular they've even been known to remember your name.
Good,Great Irish cooking even though its run by eastern europeans with an Irish heart and this is of course expressed through they're delicious food.
Warning! It's all very well going to Pedro's hungry, but be sure to not order more then you need as the portions are colossal! which is always great and far from stingy, far,far,far.

So enjoy! and as you can tell it suited me well over the years and try to remember that it is a greasy spoon and not the 'Ritz'.
