Romas have recently refurbished the eating area & i have to say this is now very nice & quite modern looking. The food on the other hand is a bit different! I went in a party of six & it seemed that all the food we ordered was very bland, swimming in grease & similar to what i would cook in my own kitchen (and i am not a great cook)!
The quality of food was bad compared to the expensive price we paid for it! Most of the food we ordered was left uneaten as it tasted so bad & the mushrooms we ordered for a starter was practically just a bowl full of grease! Very disappointed with Romas as the food used to be nice. The staff are very rude when you do have a complaint & are only interested in getting as much money out of you as possible! A very unpleasant experience, bad food, unfriendly staff & service would make this a place i would never return to!

Benedicts is great for lunchtime or for an early evening meal. Lovely cosy decor & a sitting area upstairs away from the bar if you like it a little quieter. The food at lunchtime is gorgeous - order the chicken & potatoes & spicy wedges - to die for! The staff are helpful but at times it can be a little busy! Can be a little rough at night when it has more of a nightclub feel so better to visit during the daytime. Benedicts also do heavenly chocolate desserts, compliments to the chef! The food is reasonably priced & they have a Beat the Clock Menu most night also. A lot of people come in here for work lunches & dinners so there are usually large groups of people. The food comes in large portions so you wont leave feeling hungry!

I would avoid Spuds like the plague! When you go in, its full of flies all over the place, worse on a hot day!! It looks like they never clean the floor or any of the counters so i dont honestly know how they are still in business! The food is quite cheap & a lot of people stumble in here late at night for a quick bite after coming out of the pub! They usually have a lot of offers on baked potatoes with various toppings but in my experience these have always been swimming in grease! Maybe good for students on a budget but the place reeks of potential food poisoning! I dont know anyone who has gone here who has said the food is actually nice! Has a lot of other nearby food places so this to me would really be a last resort! Unhygenic, greasy & smelly! Dont go here for lunch if you can avoid it.

I really love Katy Dalys! I may be biased though as i met my boyfriend here :) A great pub only about 10 minutes from the main shopping area. As soon as you go inside, you get a real comfortable homey feeling! Lots of music and entertainment on most nights. Lovely old style quirky decorating. Small wooden tables & stools with lots of quirky pieces decorating the walls. Reasonably priced & the food at lunchtime is usually gorgeous & really filling! A favourite with the younger crowd of twenty somethings. The perfect place to go for a cool beer after work on a friday! Seats available to sit outside & take advantage of those long hot summer days! the perfect night or day out!

Starbucks has always had a reputation for being one of the most popular coffee places out! I have to disagree though! This Starbucks is always crammed full of people, its very busy & you have to be prepared to stand in a long queue before you get served, usually behind the person wanting a tall skinny non fat latte with extra foam & about 10 other extras! They have a good selection of teas, coffees, smoothies, milkshakes & light bites. Everytime i walk past Starbucks, there seem to be a lot of posers sitting on the many sofas at the windows hoping to be spotted having a coffee there! Also is very expensive, the coffees & drinks are distinctly average despite customers being charged so much! This place doesnt do it for me unfortunately - overpriced, overcrowded & loads of cosier places nearby you can go to!

I absolutely love Clements - one of my favourite places to go to for a coffee morning without a doubt! Prices can be a little expensive but its definitely worth it. Order a hot chocolate & you get a cup the size of a bowl with rich indulgent hot chocolate, whipped cream & mini marshmallows! naughty but a real treat! A lot of young people usually grace clements, it has a young student vibe. Friendly & relaxed & the perfect place to take someone who is a real chocolate lover! I would recommmend this to anyone to visit! lovely selection of scones, muffins & buns too. Brilliant service from the staff who are very accomodating. Comfy sofas & funky style make this a great place to hang out!

Go to this Pizza Hut all the time! A little short staffed a times but very good service! set in a great area with plenty of offers & deals including the lunchtime buffet deal! can have some rowdy kids in groups during the summer but quiet enough to eat in the rest of the time. good service & gorgeous food, especially the hot cookie dough dessert! great for a meal out before heading to the nearby moviehouse cinema.The staff are happy enough to put any pizza you havent been able to eat in a box to take home! great as i always order too much! also free soft drink refills! great overall, i would recommend this to any hungry pizza fan!
