I went along to Annies bar for the launch, but as I arrived at about 7.30, you could still smell the paint drying on the wall, and the builders were carry furniture in.

From what I did see of the finished bar, I have to say the decor, was lovely, and the bar seemed out of place, it would have been better suited in Hampstead, so this could be a great place for Kentish town, in terms of service I cant fairly comment as I didnt stay long enough for the opening to the public

I wondered around looking for refreshments or at least a drink, I was directed to the door, where a girl had some bottles of champagne, but no glasses to drink from them. At this point id lost my will to stay longer, and promptly left.

The bar from a decor perspective seemed lovely, but to see what its really like id need to return in two weeks or so,

High Quality roast everyday!
Dolce, run by a friendly, charming Italian guy, is a great place to pick up a sandwich, I have to say that the Roast chicken, which they roast in house each day, is fantastic, as they always serve generous helpings.
The Pork sandwhich with apple saunce, salt & pepper, again great with the Ciabatta.
Or the Salt Beef on Ryebread, again great!
These guys also know how to make a good coffee, also on offer, is a selection of pasta's, from tradition Cabonara, to italian meatballs in ragu sauce, bangers on Mash, salads, and a stroganoff to die for, made with rump, again generous portions.
SO if your looking for a bit of diversity in a cosy cafe feel, this is the place to visit.

A secret Gem
This place from the outside is so understated, it could easiliy be mistaken for a local cafe, but this is far from the truth. The restaurant offers a good selection of Pasta, Veal, Seafood, and Pizza to die for.

The Pizza at this place is truely awesome, I had the quattro Fumi, my partner, opted for the Sirloin steak, both very vell presented, and made to perfection.

This place has an advantage other many others, surprisingly I am refering to the fact that it has no license, so basically you can take your own wine.

This brings the price down of the overall bill, so summing up, fantastic food, good value (pizza 7.50), (steak 13.50)

The best out of the three
Since writing an earlier review about the Bayswater Rodizio, I decided to visit the one in Islington, I have to say, with delight, that this was so much better.

The salad bar, and hot food buffet counter, was filled with a number of delightful offerings, from a meaty chilli, to Salmon salad.

I had a lovely bottle of Chauteu Neuf de Pape for a mere £30, and in Islington, it was just £21.oo a head for the barbeque, the meat kept coming, and all very nice cuts of Picanha,and Alcatra, two fine steaks from Brazil..

This time I wasnt left wanting, as the guys were coming round with more and more meat, one waiter said they were trying their best to keep us, as they had heard that top Brazilian Chuhascaria Porqoan will be coming to London very soon!!
Competition will be great, two lovely Rodizio brands vying for our buisiness. It will simply be magic..

Great little club
This place is actually quite good for a night out, without the pretentiousness of some of londons leading clubs, It has a floor dedicated to dancing (in the basement), and on the entrance floor (ground), there is a large sitting area to socialise, this is great, it allows you to chat and talk without the need for shouting, and when you want the music loud you simply go downstairs and enjoy.

The Music ranges from the latest RnB, to House Classics. The drink selection is pretty impressive, they have proberbly one of the best top shelf selections I have encountered in London, ranging from Pinga 51 to JW Blue Label, and JW Swing. Pricewise very reasonable, a Jack and coke for £6.50.

Dont expect celebritys, or there hanger - ons, just expect nice, friendly people, a great atmosphere, sensible pricing, and most of all a great way to spend a saturday night.

Not as good as the real thing by far
If you read my reviews in the past you would know that I lived in Brazil for four years, so I went to the place last night with high expectations.
I was a little dissapointed, as they didnt have my favourite meat, which all "TOP NOTCH" Rodizio's have in Brazil, which is Fillet Mignon, This is normally served with a sauce, or just as it comes. It also didnt have the real Brazilian Linquica sausage, or Alcatra, or Fillet Argentine for that matter. Most dissapointingly was the fact they didnt have Palmito (Palm Hearts), on the salad bar.

If you are ever lucky enough to go to Rio, visit Mario's, or in Curitiba Napolitana, Danis, or Batel Grill.
The salads buffets are bigger, the meat choice is so much more, Mario's even has wild boar, on the rounds.

Considering I paid £101 for two, which consisted of a bottle of wine (£30) Chauteau Neuf de Pape, 2 x barbeques, and 2 x Mouse for desert, bottle of water, and 1 x bottle of Brahma. Then this is quite expensive for the quality of what you actually get.

On the positive side, the steak was good, especially the Picanha, the salad they did have was very good. And the service was excellent. This is similar to Brazil, but I will be very honest, Unlike a leading Rodizio, this is more like the type you may find in a Brazilian shopping mall (which by the way, can be quite good), but it is not Marios, Napolitana, or Curitibana, which are premier league in comparison.

This place is ok in the summer, for a drink outside, as is situated on a corner of a side street of dean street, winter time, there isnt room to swing a cat in the place, and due to its busyness, and size, it can take a while to get near the bar especially in Summer.
The crowd is mixed, id say 50/50 straight / gay. The Candy bar is next door.
Pricewise acceptable, better places near by.

Great Sandwich, but....
This place makes fantastic sandwiches, really, I struggle to find better quality ciabatta, the problem however is the service, the staff are very inpersonal, and the pricing is a bit weird, so for example if you order a bacon sandwich before 10,30 you pay like 80pence less for the same thing, its more expensive afterwards

Other than that you have like four people working behind the counter but only one is making the food, irrespective of the amount of people waiting.

The food is great, as is the coffee.

Personal favourite in Soho
This place has it all, Jacket potatoes filled with chilli, cajun Chicken wraps (5.00 but well worth it!!), the best Sausage sandwiches for breakfast, Japenese Chicken curry for £5.50. great coffee. salads, and all the normal sandwich bar stuff aswell.

Great choice for takeaway, but proberbly best to phone order through, this place is rammed at lunch times.

Very hygenic minded Japenese owner, cool Brazilian staff, and good service..

Surprisingly I quite like this place
Though I cant stand chains, I cant seem to find anything really wrong with this place, they offer great service, great music, great range of drinks, called quality nachos, and even free wi-fi access.

The bouncers are friendly enough, the toilet attendent offers aftershave like any other trendy bar round the area, and the girls, should you be interested, are nice looking friendly.

This place has a great atmosphere, great service, reasonably priced, and a good place to start the evening on a good night out round soho.
