Muffin Break is great for coliacs proving gluten free muffins with at least 8 on sale each day. Though this is very dear and you dont get the same deals are regular customers for normal muffins the gluten free muffins are great for a treat now and then. Only problem i would say is that the muffins come with toppings and if taking these home they always seem to lose there topping. I suppose these are designed for sitting in but it does give you a treat now and again if you can take it home. The staff are very poor i have bought 4 gluten free muffins before with toppings and asked them to put them into a box only to find they've put them upside down.

Excellent food but costly
Visited Dobbies a few times and the store is great and cheap but the cafe is very expensive for the cost of a pudding and a drink i could easily go somwhere else and get a full pub meal. It is good for catering for special diets such as coeliacs but just not cheap enough unfornately always very busy as well packed with pensioners. There is a wide selection of food as well and though it is expensive it is very good quality so your getting good value for what you pay for but you will probably come away thinking you could have paid less and got more elsewhere. Excellent views from there cafe which is upstairs of the gardens outside and there is a balcony if you want to be brave.

Great traditional Food
The Birkhill Inn is one of Dundee's many great restraunts but what makes this stand out is there ability to cater for allergys. As a coeliac i go here reguarly and have never had any problems after my meal. All great traditional food and not very expensive. You are about £9 for a drink and a lunch meal which is very filling. Full Menu's are on there website with a great selection of meals and the great weekly specials with such foods as Beef Olives and Sausages and Mash. They have a loyalty program which cost's £10 to join you get the discount when you buy it the first time and there is no expiry date on the card. Meaning if about 6 of you go out for an evening meal you'll save the 10% discount which pays for the card itself.

Excellent Value for money and excellent Meals.
