We went to Mildred's before going to catch a show - what a place.

The menu was extensive and the food was excellent. Real value for money as well - starter, 2 mains, 2 puds, 2 glasses of good wine and 2 beers - all for under 50.

The staff were attentive without being over-bearing and the atmosphere was great.

We went early so there wasn't a problem getting a table but the place soon filled up so I would suspect getting a table later on could mean a bit of a wait.

However, it is well worth it and you can always sit at the bar and have a drink while you are waiting!
