Not a good place...

£1 per hour to plug your computer in to the power due to "rising energy costs".

"May i have some sugar please" i asked "Go and look on the tables in the other room, if there isn't any we haven't got any" came the response from the surly waiter.

He later came to our table to take away our milk (without asking if we'd finished with it), but not to remove the dirty glasses that were there since before our arrival!

Superficial, try-hard hipster café at it's worst.

i went here last Sunday lunchtime to introduce a Polish friend to a good old Sunday Roast... what a mistake... the whole place smelled of stale beer, service was surly, charge on debit cards (whatever the amount!) and the sunday roast was horrible! Roast potatoes tasted deep-fried, meat was grey and bland, apple sauce was from a jar and i reckon the Yorkshire pudding was from Aldi! For a TENNER!!!

Pretty good food, and ok value for that part of town...but why such pathetically small portions of rice?! If a Thai green curry comes with masses of delicious sauce...you need at least three times the amount of rice, and at over a quid for a small pot, it adds up!

Service is somewhat rude and rushed, and they can't wait to get you out of there.

Poor value, unexciting, uninspiring, badly presented, poor service (well, you actually serve yourself for most of the meal!...and all they do is bring the food...late or incorrent!), greasy uninspiring chips/fries (like badly fried ovenchips!), bland overcooked chicken (which, incidentally seems to be the **battery intensively farmed** kind as all they say about their meat is that it's "never frozen, and Grade A"...so very unlikely that it's free-range, organic local or well looked after!
