I LOVED IT!!
Just the place for a special evening meal, family celebration or a summer light lunch. With a garden by the river, adjacent to a popular walk, The bridge is a great place to stop en route.

The specials board is extensive but get there early because they have limited covers for some dishes.

Great atmosphere, cosy in winter.

I love lunch here.
There is a decent specials board, lots of fish. Portions are big. it does get busy so book or arrive early. The kinds place you'd happily take extended family. They do smaller sizes for older folk and kids.

Great fresh Fish and chips.
I haven't strayed from cod or sausage. If you're feeding a family go for large chips it will easily feed a hungry 4!!!!

I love this place. Mainly for the buffet eat as much as you like menu, even though it's a bit on the pricey side going mon -thurs takes the price down by a couple of quid. Great place to celebrate a birthday and try things you never have.

We used to frequent ASK loads, but several disappointing dishes has meant we tried other places. It's all a question of taste the room it's self is worth a look and the staff were always friends but not a fav or pizza or pasta anymore.

GP is a versitile place to eat. Sitting outside in the square on a beautiful day is well worth the time. The food is good with interesting specials. We had a great meal. Mains about £7/8.

Sitting in the courtyard is quiet pleasant esp when you forget the office blocks and guildhall around you. They have good selection of drink and cakes, just a little pricey, i felt personally.

It's ok. and gets busy it kinda feels like the place husbands wait to read the paper while wives try on another pair of shoes. Food is good though!
