The Corner Caf' proves that cheap does not have to mean bad, in fact I would choose this place over most Indians I've been too including the 'gastro' ones. It's just basic veggie Indian, well made, served fresh and if you want beer you can bring a in a pint from the pub over the road.

Second best hotel I've stayed in. Amazing place. For foodies the buffet dinner was just gob smacking, not only foods from all around asia but all around the world and most of the done amazingly well, the chef was French when I was there. There is also a 'floating' restaurant attached to the hotel serving fine Thai food. Worth eating there even if you are not staying.

I like boutique hotels. It's almost a hobby now after years of Marriotts. The calls is middle of the road but boutique is a nice road to be on, the neighbors are nice and there is little trash. Good location for Leeds, a little tucked away and you will have difficulty finding if unless you really know the city, parking is also tough, but it's one of the nicer places in one of the UKs best cities.

Best place to go in the area if your train home has been delayed by, like, forever - which is not that uncommon. It's a bit pretentious, by that I mean that the food does not quite live up to the setting, but that's just because the setting is so wonderful.

Woodlands is one of my default places to eat in London. The food is good, veggi and not too expensive. Service is alwasy efficient. I recommend the Thali(s) for both n00bs and those into Southern Indian food - this applies to all branches in London.
